The Real Housewives of New Jersey has been on indefinite pause. While on break, rumors have swirled that RHONJ staple, Dolores Catania, may be joining The Real Housewives of Rhode Island cast. And now, eagle-eyed fans have spotted Dolores filming with some of the RHORI ladies.
The new franchise of Real Housewives was announced back in May. Since then, fans have been buzzing about who could potentially be part of the RHORI cast. Dolores was mentioned more than once and fans are all but convinced that she is moving to the Ocean State.

In fact, rumors got so strong that Dolores addressed them. She told Jeff Lewis that she wasn’t going to star in the new franchise but that she may make a cameo since she has friends in the RHORI cast. “I will visit maybe,” Dolores stated. She’s keeping it mysterious for now but time will eventually reveal all secrets.
And it looks like the “maybe” part of her sentence is now definitely. Fans spotted Dolores filming with what they are saying are the cast of the new show. The clip, shared on social media, shows her looking over a balcony at what appears to be a party. She was talking with another woman.
Maybe she won’t just be a cameo. A friend of the cast perhaps?
In either case, it looks like there’s no hiding anything from the fans. We’ll have to wait and see if that clip makes it into the inaugural season of the new show. For now, we wait. Andy Cohen has shared that the incoming RHORI is very exciting and shared that the cast is “Italian with a capital I.”
There’s currently no confirmed release date for RHORI yet, but with BravoCon 2025 on the horizon, we’re sure to get more news soon.
As for RHONJ, Andy gave a brief update on the show’s possible future on The View. He shared that the show is currently casting and “looking at the future” of what RHONJ could be. He also reiterated that it’s a great franchise and that they love it.
