Real Housewives of Beverly Hills alum Denise Richards is going through a rough patch. Her husband, Aaron Phypers, filed for divorce earlier this week. Their split was unexpected. Their relationship, which was showcased on her Bravo reality series, Denise Richards & Her Wild Things, seemed solid. In fact, the couple discussed on camera how they would never divorce.
Well, Aaron’s decision to file for divorce also surprised his wife. Allegedly, a source claimed that Denise “never in a million years thought he would do this to her.” And now, Denise is also dealing with the end of her reality show.
Bravo don’t plan on bringing Denise Richards’ show back
TMZ reported that a source claimed that Denise Richards and Her Wild Things was never meant to run beyond one season. It was reportedly created as a limited-run series. The show also starred Denise’s daughters: Sami Sheen, Lola Sheen, and Eloise Richards. However, even with all the drama amid Denise and Aaron’s divorce, Bravo isn’t clamoring to bring the show back.
In his divorce filing, Aaron listed “irreconcilable differences” as the reason for ending their six-year marriage. He named July 4, 2025, as the date of their separation, and also asked for spousal support. Aaron also alleged that the duo’s monthly expenses totaled $105,000. Of course, Aaron is in some financial hot water, with a judge slapping a $228,000 judgment against him. So, the timing of his filing is a bit sus.
Meanwhile, RHOBH is currently filming, which opens the door for Denise to film some guest appearances. Of course, venting about her shocking divorce from Aaron would give the actress some juicy content. Personally, I would love to see Denise film some scenes, and then maybe this ragamuffin could reclaim her diamond the following season.
