Teddi Mellencamp is still living her life to the fullest amid her cancer battle. The former Real Housewives of Beverly Hills star was diagnosed with stage 4 cancer in her brain and lungs. In April, Teddi revealed that she had undergone treatment and several of her tumors had shrunk in size. However, her battle is not over, and now she is also dealing with the loss of a rather new relationship with Ricci Rea.
Who is Teddi Mellencamp’s ex-boyfriend Ricci Rea?
Just like Teddi, Ricci also has connections to Hollywood. Even though he is quiet when it comes to the social media front, he does have a LinkedIn. He is a senior producer based out of Los Angeles. Ricci boasts 15 years of experience in the production of cross-category unscripted TV. Teddi’s former beau has worked for major TV outlets including ABC, TBS, NBC, FOX, and Apple TV+. He currently works at Dorothy, which is a new kind of boutique creative agency. Ricci has been in his current position for the last nine months. Sadly, the duo have called it quits after just one month of dating.
How is Teddi’s cancer prognosis?
In June, Teddi gave an update about her cancer diagnosis. While on her Two Ts In A Pod podcast, she shared, “I had gotten pretty nervous because I started getting headaches again, but the doctors came in and said that the tumors have not grown at all. If anything, they’re shrinking.” The reality TV alum added, “I’m in the one percent range of improvement. But I am still stage four cancer. I think I believe that I’m gonna go in and they’re gonna say, ‘Wow, it’s a miracle and you no longer have any cancer.’”
At the time, Teddi did comment on her new relationship, sharing, “I’m dating somebody. He’s very kind to me, he’s taking good care of me. He’s nice. He’s not married, he doesn’t have any kids. But he’s also a private person. I asked him, like, ‘Do I even say your name?’ And he’s, like, ‘It’s really whatever you want to do,’ like, ‘I know you’re a public person.’”
