Fear not, Real Housewives of Miami fans! Although Season 7 of RHOM has just begun, it’s already been confirmed that Season 8 will begin filming in January. For those unaware, there have been rumblings on the internet that viewership has been low for this series. Which is quite shocking, as it’s one of the best Real Housewives shows Bravo has to offer. Still, those low viewership numbers are not all what they seem. In fact, this show is actually doing quite well.
RHOM has been renewed for Season 8
If you take a peek at social media while watching RHOM, you might be alarmed to see calls to action to get people to watch this show. Apparently viewership numbers are not the greatest. Who really watches live TV these days?
Thankfully, TV Deets reported some good news. They announced, “RHOM has been renewed for Season 8 with filming set to begin in January 2026.” But then came the supposed not-so-good news. It was reported that recent viewership numbers for Season 7 were “scoring less than 300,000 live viewers.”
However, if you average in numbers from streaming on Peacock, linear, and on-demand, the numbers are “averaging 1.5 million viewers an episode.” They can’t take our mojitos away from us just yet!
So, who do we think will be returning next season? I can’t see any of the OGs leaving. Even though Julia Lemigova has found herself in hot water so far this season regarding her treatment of Guerdy Abraira, I’m sure she’ll be returning.
And newbie Stephanie Shojaee has quickly proven she speaks what’s on her mind about her co-stars no matter what. Which always makes for compelling television, so I’d be shocked if she wasn’t a part of the new season as well.
Regardless of who is returning or not, it’s reassuring that one of the best Real Housewives shows will be back on our screens next year.
