Real Housewives of Orange County fans are expecting explosive drama from Season 19. Gretchen Rossi is back as a friend of the cast after a decade off the show. She and RHOC veteran, Tamra Judge, have a long-standing feud from their prior time together.
The RHOC Season 19 trailer indicated that their conflict is alive and well. All that drama will play out throughout the season. But Tamra added a little fire to the flames by criticizing Gretchen’s appearance during a recent podcast interview.
RHOC’s Tamra Judge and Gretchen Rossi will feud during Season 19
Tamra was asked what RHOC fans should anticipate from Gretchen on Season 19 while on Page Six’s Virtual Reali-Tea podcast. The Vena CBD co-founder poked fun at Gretchen’s seemingly unchanged appearance and approach to the series.
“I feel like she can’t move forward, she wants to talk about the past. She thinks the show still operates like it did 15 years ago, and it doesn’t. It’s a different show,” Tamra stated.
She continued, “Social media is different, the show is different, the way it’s filmed is different, everything’s different now. And she’s just the same person.”
As for Gretchen’s overall look, including hair and outfits, host Danny Murphy asked Tamra if she felt they were “out-of-date.” She responded, “They’re both bad. Yeah, it’s really bad.”
Tamra claimed that she tried to start over with Gretchen. The RHOC veteran relied on Gretchen being “more mature” now after becoming a mother to five-year-old daughter Skylar with fiancé Slade Smiley.
“I tried, I tried,” she claimed. “My opening statement to her was, ‘Hey, listen, I’d like to reintroduce myself to you. I am Tamra Judge, and I have no desire to go in the past. You know, we can move forward, and find something new to fight about.'”
It doesn’t seem that the talk resolved the conflict. Tamra felt under constant attack from Gretchen.
“The thing is, if anybody should be mad, it should be me. For 12 years, she is relentless talking about me,” she claimed.
