Perhaps we haven’t seen the last of Jax Taylor? Just a week after the news arrived that the longtime Bravo star would not return for Season 3 of The Valley, a new report suggests that the door is still open to the troubled reality star. Supposedly, producers “forced” him to quit the show. It’s an interesting theory, so let’s take a moment to break it down.
Was Jax Taylor “forced to quit” Bravo’s The Valley?

Thanks to Dorinda Medley, every fired Bravo star loves to say that they’re actually “on pause.” That’s usually not the case, but it actually could be for Jax, according to a report from The Sun. They spoke with someone close to production, and they said that Jax’s exit from the show felt difficult to navigate.
After his behavior on and off screen, they knew he couldn’t be on the cast in Season 3. However, they still felt hesitant about firing him. The insider said that he still has the support of executive producer Alex Baskin, who is also responsible for The Valley, Vanderpump Rules, and multiple Housewives franchises.
“Jax still has the support of certain production members like Alex, who didn’t want to kick him while he’s down,” the production insider claimed.
The source said that the decision to move forward without Jax wasn’t a “unanimous” one. However, they eventually came to the conclusion that if he didn’t resign from the show, they’d need to fire him. Therefore, Jax came forward with his resignation letter. In his statement to fans, he said he wanted to prioritize his mental health and focus on his sobriety.
“So he basically was forced to resign to avoid getting fired. His future with Bravo isn’t done,” the source claimed.
Allegedly, producers outlined some steps that he can take to get his way back into their good graces. They said the “door is open” if he can get healthier and prove he isn’t too dangerous for reality TV.
This insider sounds believable, but it’s worth noting that these anonymous sources can sometimes exaggerate. None of the parties involved in the situation have commented on it. EIther way, we’re wishing Jax the best, and we’re looking forward to Season 3 without him.
The Valley Season 2 reunion kicks off Tuesday, July 29, at 8/7c on Bravo. It streams on Hayu in the UK and Ireland.
