Welcome back! This week on Below Deck Season 12 Episode 11, everything is coming up Kyle. From his much-hyped storyline concerning whether or not he hooked up with the charter guest from last week, to his other hookups, both on the yacht and off, Kyle is now the man of the hour on this yacht. Unless, that is, Captain Kerry fires his Scottish self. Here is everything that happened in Below Deck Season 12 Episode 11, “The Rumor Mill.”
What happened in Below Deck Season 12 Episode 11?
Jess finally understands that she has messed up massively with Bárbara and Solène. Taking the heat off her shoulders is Kyle. He’s with Solène, so Kyle has a plan to make her feel jealous as hell. For many reasons, his birthday now has every eye fixated on him. But the largest eye belongs to his boss, who must now open an investigation to determine what exactly Kyle has or has not done with Helen, their charter guest.
Kyle starts a rumor

Thankfully, Anthony is finally thriving. His multi-course dinner goes off without a hitch. Not thriving is Kyle, who wants nothing “to do” with Solène. She played him, he reminds Bárbara.
Luckily for him, today is his birthday. And his guests have just departed the yacht, leaving a lesser tip of $22k.
The crew quickly cleans the yacht. Kyle puts on a kilt, saying he is ready to party. Damo also wears a kilt, eager to support his friend.
In his sprinter van, Hugo laughs about Helen, their primary charter guest. “I f*cked Helen in the water,” Kyle reveals. “The whole idea, the whole flotation device, she had the idea in her brain, and she knew what she wanted,” he adds.
Hugo laughs, but in his talking head, he admits that Kyle is in the wrong. But Kyle is still talking in the van, noting that he had to tell Helen they “can’t do this right now.” And when Solène asks if he at least wore a condom, Kyle smiles, saying nothing else.
Kyle entertains a different fling on his birthday

Kyle sees Solène flirting with Jess and grows annoyed. Two seconds later, he leaves the table to chat up a cute blonde girl named Martine. Six minutes later, Kyle and Martine start making out.
Solène is not jealous, she says. Yet, her watchful eyes tell a different story. Kyle and Martine walk by her table, bound for a more private place to make out down the beach. Their beach romp turns heavy quickly, so they retreat to the men’s bathroom next for privacy.
Jess and Fraser take a walk. Fraser, thankfully, reminds Jess that “Bárbara is not a game.” So, if she plans on continuing things with Solène, then she needs to give up Bárbara, he scolds. Fraser heads to the bathroom, running straight into all the sex noises coming out of Kyle and Martine.
Jess laughs. She also kicks open the door to take a picture. Back at their table, his birthday cake arrives. Fraser tells his crew that Kyle is not here, because he just saw him “f*cking a woman on the bathroom floor.”
Jess shows everyone her picture. Kyle returns to the table, letting Solène know that Martine was “way better” than her. Back on the yacht, Solène reminds him that he said this. “Whatever we had was whatever. I don’t want to know you anymore,” Kyle answers.
Rumors involving Kyle and Helen take over the yacht

Bárbara gets into bed. Jess enters, revealing she is “completely” done with Solène. Jess asks Bárbara on a date. After a pause, Bárbara says yes.
Standing by the hot tub, Kyle quips, “It’s actually Helen I f*cked tonight. I f*cked her in the sea, for God’s sake. I slipped my d*ck,” he continues, joking that this is why her husband left them all such a low tip.
The next day, Kyle is still talking about his conquests. Damo is worried. He thinks that Kyle is hurting and, therefore, acting out in wild ways.
A new group of guests is coming onboard. They are celebrating their tenth wedding anniversary, and the bride plans on jumping off the yacht in her dress. But first, the crew is throwing Kyle a quick birthday party in the crew mess.
Fraser remains worried about Kyle. It was reckless of Kyle to brag about hooking up with a charter guest. So, he wants Kyle to turn himself in to Captain Kerry. Damo takes charge of this one, pleading with Kyle to do the right thing.
Kyle heads to the wheelhouse.
Captain Kerry opens an investigation into Kyle’s alleged tryst

In the wheelhouse, Kyle finally admits that “nothing did happen” with Helen. Trying to understand where this story originated, he asks Kyle what he said to make everyone believe this narrative. “I said, I might have slipped it in. I genuinely didn’t. But I definitely have said that,” Kyle admits.
“The boat has a reputation,” Captain Kerry declares. Then, he heads downstairs to talk to the crew, to see if Kyle is lying about not hooking up with Helen. Thankfully, the crew also thinks that this rumor is false.
Jess and Bárbara go on their first date. It ends with a shared bunk. Finally, Captain Kerry calls Kyle to the wheelhouse, fresh off his investigation.
After scolding Kyle for being “full of sh*t,” he asks Kyle once more, “Did you do it?” Kyle answers no. Captain Kerry allows him to keep his job. But as the credits roll, production asks Kyle this same question. And his only response is a cheeky “Give Helen a call.”
Below Deck continues Mondays at 8/7c on Bravo. It streams on Hayu in the UK and Ireland.
