Season 7 of The Real Housewives of Orange County brought the ladies to New Orleans. However, the trip was far from peaceful for the RHOC cast. After Tamra Judge argued with everyone at a dinner, she walked out. It was nasty and heated.
And not only did Tamra leave the building, but she seemingly quit the show. She booked a flight home and left after posting a cryptic message about turning in her orange. While the cast was shocked by her behavior, others questioned whether Tamra quit. Or was this a ploy to get attention and exit an uncomfortable situation?
Tamra Judge told fans she was leaving The Real Housewives of Orange County
In a sneak peek of RHOC Season 7 Episode 7, the ladies reacted to Tamra’s departure. “And if she needs to go home and focus on herself, this is probably the smartest decision I’ve ever seen Tamra make,” Jennifer Pedranti commented in her confessional. Cue the flashback to the previous night, when Tamra texted Shannon Beador that she was leaving The Big Easy at 4 a.m., and to “come up without cameras.” However, Shannon wasn’t feeling it.
The next morning, during a car ride, Gina Kirschenheiter commented on Tamra’s social media post from the airport regarding her mental health. “If you’re truly somebody who is like, ‘I need to work on my mental health right now,’ your priority is not, ‘I need to post on Instagram,’” Gina stated. Oof.
“I can’t believe how f*cking selfish it is for her to leave,” Heather Dubrow chimed in. “I’ve been taking up for her, and trying…” Then, Gina dropped a bomb about Katie Ginella. “Meanwhile, Katie lied about this whole thing because I called the journalist,” Gina said.
Part of the reason Tamra quit RHOC was because of her bestie, Teddi Mellencamp’s, cancer battle. All the drama was too much for the reality vet.
The Real Housewives of Orange County airs Thursday nights at 8 p.m. EST on Bravo. It streams on Hayu in the UK and Ireland.
