Jennifer Lopez has no interest in speaking publicly about her divorce from Ben Affleck.
The singer and actress is out promoting her film Kiss of the Spider Woman and is facing questions about her ex. The couple officially divorced in January, but in a recent interview, she was asked about Ben by host Craig Melvin
While Jennifer and Ben aren’t together anymore, the latter is an executive producer in her new project. Although she didn’t appear comfortable being put on the spot with a question about Ben, it seems as though the breakup has done her some good.

Ben and Jennifer’s divorce didn’t end well, and it seems as though Jennifer is sick of discussing it. On Monday’s edition of the Today Show, Craig mentioned that while filming for Kiss of the Spiderwoman was happening, she and Ben were finalizing a divorce. “There you go! Look at this guy!” said Jennifer in response.
Discussing Ben Affleck has been a touchy subject lately, with the Good Will Hunting writer reportedly ghosting her for months. While she doesn’t appear comfortable talking about the break-up in detail, she shared how the split helped her in this latest film project. “It’s funny, the movie is about escapism. It’s about how movies and art save us in the hardest times of our lives,” she shared.
Jennifer plays multiple roles in the movie/musical, including that of Luna/Aurora/The Spider Woman. It is her first movie musical, with Jennifer calling it a dream come true to have the opportunity to work on the project. She’s able to combine the three skills people know her for: singing, dancing, and acting.
Kiss of the Spider Woman will be released in US theatres on Friday.
