Real Housewives of Beverly Hills alum Garcelle Beauvais made the best decision for herself when she decided to leave the show earlier this year. Unfortunately, that also meant cutting ties (for now at least) with some of her former friends, including her RHOBH bestie Sutton Stracke. So where do the two stand now? Still on pause, it would seem.
Things got pretty explosive during the RHOBH Season 14 reunion. Garcelle got it from all sides. She eventually got so frustrated that she decided to leave the show after five incredible seasons. She didn’t even stay for the cast photo. It looked like a clean break.
Where do Garcelle Beauvais and RHOBH’s Sutton Stracke stand in October 2025?
Fans were sad to see Garcelle go, and many wondered what this exit would mean for her relationship with her show BFF. However, the question was answered when Garcelle did a mass Instagram unfollowing a couple of days later of all the diamond-holding Housewives, including Sutton.
That already indicated that something was up between the former besties. Many also think Sutton didn’t have Garcelle’s back when everyone was coming for her, and that’s just not best friend behavior.
For her part, Sutton said she wanted to give Garcelle the space she needed after the reunion. That seemed to indicate that Sutton wanted to repair their relationship once Garcelle got enough space. However, Sutton then also ended up unfollowing her Garcelle too, making their break IG official.
That was back in April and May. Has time healed their wounds and mended the rift between them? Unfortunately, it looks like it hasn’t. Garcelle has been thriving in her post-RHOBH era. She’s been busy with family and just feels lighter and happier in general.
In a recent update with Variety, she shared she’s now advocating for breast cancer awareness, producing, and has several acting gigs lined up. She claimed that leaving RHOBH helped her get her power back.
While she’s not adverse to returning in the far future, as of now, she has no desire to, and she shared that hasn’t spoken to the ladies, including former close friend Sutton, since the reunion. Perhaps not enough has passed yet to heal that hurt.
