Life comes at you fast. Just days before her own shocking arrest, Wendy Osefo did an interview, where she commented on whether or not Karen Huger should return to The Real Housewives of Potomac following her stint in jail. Considering how the rest of Wendy’s week turned out, her answer to the question aged pretty well.
Wendy Osefo thinks Karen Huger could return to Real Housewives of Potomac
Wendy and her husband were arrested on October 10 on multiple fraud charges. Two days earlier, Deadline shared an interview where she seemed optimistic about having Karen back on the show. According to Wendy, Karen deserves the opportunity to share her perspective after serving six months in jail for DUI.
“I have not spoken to her since her release,” Wendy admitted. “However, I feel like everybody should be given the opportunity to have a platform to tell their own story. There’s no point or purpose in your story being told by others.”
We suppose that means that Wendy will use RHOP to tell her side of the story about these fraud charges. The court documents claim that she and Eddie Osefo lied about luxury items stolen in a 2024 home burglary. Allegedly, the two are navigating “substantial debt.”
We’ll wait to see what the future holds for both Karen and Wendy. For now, all eyes are on Season 10. Wendy teased that we can expect to see her helping Eddie with his cannabis line. Plus, she said she’ll have a reunion with someone from her past.
Wendy explained, “This season, I get to reconnect with someone from my past and that reconnection not only has an impact on me, but has an impact on others around me, who I love, and that’s something that was hard for me.”
“I had to really let go [and] put my guards down around trying to protect my emotions,” she continued. “I’m really looking forward to the audience being able to see the growth I have, both professionally as well as personally.”
