Taylor Swift made a couple of big announcements on Good Morning America
Taylor is giving fans a six-part docuseries, The End of an Era, about The Eras Tour. The series, which will air on Disney+, will detail a behind-the-scenes look at what was involved in bringing the wildly successful tour to life. The first two episodes will drop on December 12, with another two installments airing each week.
In the promo, Taylor said, “People like to talk about phenomenons almost as if it was pieces falling into place, as if it just happened. The Eras Tour wasn’t when all the pieces fell into place. This tour was just when every single one of us who had done so much work, pushing, inch by inch, to where we all clicked together.” She added, “The only thing left is to close the book.”
The songstress is also releasing the concert film, Taylor Swift: The Eras Tour: The Final Show, on December 12 on Disney+. The film will feature the complete final concert for the tour, which took place on December 8, 2024, in Vancouver, BC. In a rare treat and a first, this film will also showcase the setlist for The Tortured Poets Department.
