It’s a sad day for fans of Next Gen NYC couple Ariana Biermann and Hudson McLeroy. The pair have mutually decided to part ways. Ariana shared the sad news with her followers on social media. And honestly, my heart broke just a little.
The couple has been together on and off since high school, which means this may just be a bump on the road. But for now, the pair that were once couple goals are no longer together. We have yet to see if they remain business partners.
Ariana Biermann and Hudson McLeroy have broken up
While Ariana and Hudson have been together for years, fans first really got to know him during Next Gen NYC. He appeared alongside Ariana, and viewers got a closer look at their sweet and supportive relationship.
Ariana shared the news of their split on Instagram on her IG story. In the story, she wrote, “Hudson and I have decided to go our separate ways. While these things are never easy, we both know it’s what’s best for us right now.”
It’s a very mature take on a split. She added that the couple were thankful for all the love and support the fans have given them throughout the show and on their social media.
“Sometimes life takes you in different directions, and that’s okay,” Ariana concluded. “Love you all.” Simple and clear. However, she doesn’t share any clear reason for the breakup. It appears to be magnanimous, though. Let’s hope it doesn’t devolve into something worse, like other reality TV breakups.
The couple also has yet to purge their IG pages of one another, so that’s a good sign that there is no animosity between the two.
For now, we bid farewell to our favorite next-gen couple and wish them the best. Perhaps some time apart to explore new avenues is just what they need to find their way back to one another. Or perhaps the breakup will stick this time. Hopefully, no matter what, they can remain friends.
