Dueling Preakness events, a chin check, and a cast trip on the horizon? The Real Housewives of Potomac Season 10 is in full swing, and we’re so here for the ride.
Last week, the ladies waded through the stinky aftermath of Ashley’s Second Bloom Ball, and we learned that Stacey may or may not be trying to hook up with Monique’s ex-husband. The jury’s still out on that one. But during The Real Housewives of Potomac Season 10 Episode 3, “Chin Checked,” it was Keiarna who found herself tangled up in some mess.

What happened on The Real Housewives of Potomac Season 10 Episode 3?
After taking a breath mint and handing over her divorce paperwork, Stacey finally got out of the hot seat, leaving plenty of room for Keiarna’s turn. Episode 3 showed her running around Potomac telling fifteen different versions of Angel’s “chin check” story, all while also juggling her tension with Wendy.
Meanwhile, Gizelle’s keeping busy by planning the first cast trip of the season, so these ladies need to buckle up — and start packing their resortwear.
Keiarna and Wendy’s waterside chat
At the Second Bloom Ball, Keiarna’s attempt to clear the air with Wendy only made things messier. Now, she’s trying again, only this time they’re on a park bench next to some murky water. It’s a weird setting, but that seal jumping up into the background? That felt like art.
Scenery aside, Keiarna explained to Wendy that their friendship feels fake — she thinks Wendy acts buddy-buddy with her on camera, only to throw her the cold shoulder when the cameras aren’t rolling.
On top of all of that, they both planned events for Black-Eyed Susan Day at Preakness. According to Wendy, hers is the official event because the First Lady of Maryland personally invited her.
Keiarna let her have that one, but when she tried to address the issues plaguing their “friendship,” Wendy laughed in her face. Literally, she laughed in her face.
“I’m watching you sitting here locked in with Gizelle when you don’t even f*cking like her,” Keiarna said of Wendy’s “condescending” behavior at the ball.
Unfortunately, you can’t really reason with someone who is laughing in your face, so Keiarna walked away with confirmation that her suspicions about Wendy were spot-on. And as an audience member, it’s hard to take anything Wendy says seriously, knowing that she got arrested for alleged insurance fraud months after filming this.
Jassi enters the chat
Stacey is short on friends this season, but luckily, she has a friend in Jassi! The Season 9 newbies connected off-screen last year, when Mia ditched them during her birthday trip in Miami. They’re trauma-bonded.
The ladies met up for lunch in Episode 3, and Jassi is in the throes of wedding planning. However, it seems like she’s eager to take a break from wedding planning to get messy with the ladies of RHOP. She’s credited as a part-time cast member this season, and she just so happens to be going to Black-Eyed Susan Day at Preakness! See you there, girl!
During lunch, the former QVC host dropped some major tea about Gizelle. She pulled out a photo of Gizelle seemingly on a date with former NFL player Shawn Springs. Oop!
“It is beyond me that Gizelle calls me a liar and says that I’m a phony and a fake, when she’s the one faking it all along,” Stacey said in her confessional. “Why are the standards with me so different than everybody else?”
The chin check heard ‘round Potomac
At last week’s “Tranquilitea” event, Gizelle tried to start some drama between Keiarna and Angel, and it seems to have worked. She’s a professional at this.
Keiarna told Gizelle she had to “chin check” Angel, then denied it when confronted, only to admit it again seconds later. Now, we find out she denied it again off-camera. It’s ridiculous at this point.
This latest revelation came up during a shopping trip with Wendy, Gizelle, Angel, and Tia. The ladies had to shop for resort wear, because Gizelle is taking all of them to the Four Seasons in Nevis!
At the store, Angel acted all fired up about the chin check. She’s got Keiarna, her friend of 20 years, telling her one story. Meanwhile, Gizelle, a woman she just met, is telling her that her friend is lying.
Angel got so worked up about it, she said that Keiarna’s allusion to something physical felt inappropriate, considering her Season 8 fist fight. Yes! She said that. It’s a lot of tough talk from Angel, and she’s about to quickly learn that you have to mean what you say in this group of ladies.
The Black-Eyed Susan Brunch
Instead of making the group choose between two Black-Eyed Susan events, Keiarna wound up hosting a brunch for the ladies before venturing off to Preakness, where Wendy will host an event of her own.
Thus, the ladies arrived at Keiarna’s condo, where some of them felt immediately confused by Greg’s presence. Apparently, Keiarna didn’t send out the memo to the rest of the ladies that they got back together after Season 9. We almost missed that one, too.
Either way, with the full cast assembled, Angel gently brought up the chin check issue, telling her longtime friend that it felt overly “aggressive.” Keairna circled back again and owned up to making the comment. At this point, she has gone back and forth on this so many times that she’s literally talking in circles.
Regardless, Angel accepted the apology. The longtime pals tried to move on from it, but Wendy and Gizelle weren’t having it. Why did Angel suddenly get so soft when she was talking a big game at the store?
Angel gets schooled, and she’s not happy
Watching Angel and Keiarna delicately go back and forth about this chin check comment feels like watching two rookies learning the Real Housewives game in real time. Fortunately, Gizelle, Wendy, and Ashley are there to give them some on-the-job training. They weren’t going to let these two move on that quickly.
“The energy that you had at the store is completely different from what you have now,” Wendy told Angel, with Gizelle backing her up, saying, “Facts!”
Suddenly, everyone started jumping in, telling Keiarna every single detail of what Angel said about the chin check — including the dig about the fist fight. Unfortunately, she walked right into this, and Keiarna took the opportunity to actually chin check her.
“Angel, here’s the deal,” she began. “You have the right to feel whatever you feel, and as your friend, I’m going to give you that in good faith, that I understand how this can get heightened, but whatever that chat that is that y’all had, I hope that’ll be the last.”
For now, it seems like Angel and Keiarna have put the chin check behind them. But after Wendy’s little callout, Angel’s face said it all. Did the longtime friends just realize they might have a common enemy?
