However, Jillian recently dragged Kim into her divorce proceedings. And Kim can reportedly thank her ex, Kroy, for this recent non-blessing.
Kim and Kroy tied the knot in 2011. In 2023, they parted ways, only to get back together before splitting again, many times over. With allegations of physical and mental abuse, alongside claims of gambling addictions and jewelry theft, their divorce has been messy. But now, this Real Housewives of Atlanta alum has one more burden to bear, and Kroy might be at the root of this narrative.
Meanwhile, Kyle, a wealthy businessman, comes complete with a reported multibillion-dollar portfolio. This staggering amount has Jilllian on the defensive during their separate but equally contentious divorce battle. So, how is Kim finding herself in the midst of this mess? Here’s the tea.

With a reported $100 million at stake, Jillian is leaving no stone unturned in her divorce proceedings with Kyle. And, since Kyle is already dating Kim, Kim might know specifics about his finances, including how much Kyle has already spent on their newly formed relationship. So, Jillian’s legal team recently subpoenaed Kim while she was in the parking lot of her son’s high school football game, where Kim learned that Jillian is now calling on her testimony via a deposition in the divorce case.
As for what her team is hoping to discover, they have requested all pertinent information regarding the communications between Kyle and Kim. Jillian’s team has also requested records of every gift that Kyle has given to Kim, including any expenses he might have paid for his newest leading lady. They also want a record of any businesses linked to Kyle’s name. And finally, their subpoena also requests information about any loans Kyle might have supplied to Kim, if applicable.
Kim has since filed a motion to squash this subpoena. In her words, the process server acted “unreasonably, oppressively, and intended to annoy and embarrass her” by serving her in a public space in front of her children.

Following the very public serving of this subpoena, TMZ revealed a solid plot twist. According to this outlet, Kroy allegedly reached out to Jillian, urging her to protect her nest eggs, as Kim might soon “drain money from Kyle.” Jillian then confirmed that his fears were valid, since Kyle’s credit card is on file for Kim to use freely for Instacart, a food delivery service.
Jillian also alleged that Kroy warned her about Kim’s reportedly declining mental state. In their dealings, Kroy labeled Kim a narcissist with a gambling problem. She was never around for her children, he further stressed, which he also claimed during his own divorce proceedings.
As Jillian stressed, she only met Kroy in person once. They met at her cousin’s house, since Kroy is a public figure, and Jillian is trying to avoid the attention of the press. Oops. However, it has been months since they last spoke, and no, they were never romantically involved, for anyone who might have been wondering.
Taking on a wildly different storyline arc, Jillian also claimed that Kroy confessed to something a bit off. Apparently, Kroy told her that he once sat outside Kyle’s house. But thankfully, his revelation did not make Jillian feel worried for Kyle or his safety.

Even with these recent developments swirling, Kim and Kyle are still an item. They have been together since the spring of this year. Since Kyle separated from Jillian in March, no cheating stories need to be applied to this already sticky narrative. After receiving the public notice from the courts, which shed light on their new relationship, Kim seemingly spent the night at Kyle’s house in Georgia over the weekend. As Page Six photographers showed, Kim exited Kyle’s house on Saturday morning, wearing a black crop top with matching sweatpants, while her phone remained (mostly) glued to her ear.
