Andy Cohen Names ‘Worst’ Bravolebrities for ‘Speaking Over People at Reunions’

As Executive Producer of Bravo’s Housewives franchise, Andy Cohen has weathered his share of reunions. He’s certainly a pro at handling whatever can happen when you gather a group of very competitive women in a room together.

But how does he prepare himself for these marathon question and answer sessions that sum up an entire season’s events? “Used to be a really big deal for me,” he admitted. “Leading up to the reunion, hours long prep calls with the producers. Speaking to the women in advance. The morning of, I would take a run. I mean, like, I was in the thing.”

So who is the worst offender when it comes to talking over other people?

Lisa Barlow and Jacqueline Laurita made the cut

Earlier today, Andy was the guest on Alex Cooper’s podcast, Call Her Daddy. He explained that now that he’s literally “done hundreds of reunions,” it’s not such a big deal anymore.

“I have one call with the production team and the network,” he said. “We talk about the seating for the reunion. I ask them, ‘Where are we shooting? What suit am I wearing?’ … I will have notes on the order of the day.”

Next, Alex wondered if anyone at a reunion had ever “pushed his patience” to the point where he felt like saying, “I’m so f*cking over you?”

“Oh, yeah,” he confessed, to no one’s surprise. “The last couple Jersey reunions, I had a really hard time with … I don’t like screaming at women. It is a bad look, but there are moments, and they left them in the show where I’m like, ‘Shut the fuck up!’ … By the way, sometimes the only way that I can get people to be quiet is to literally … go crazy.”

Finally, Alex asked, “Who do you think is the worst person when it comes to speaking over people at reunions?”

Not surprisingly, Andy took his time answering this one, recognizing that for some people, it’s “just harder for them” to hear what other people have to say about them. They don’t take the time to think before responding.

Lisa Barlow might be one,” he decided. “I think Teresa [Giudice] historically has. That’s been a growth area for her … Who else? I mean … Jacqueline Laurita on Jersey may have been there.”
