The Real Housewives of New York has undergone plenty of changes throughout its 13 seasons. It all began with Jill Zarin and her “fabulous circle of people” playing tennis and going to charity events. To be fair, the current ladies still do that, but also aren’t afraid to jump in pools naked or throw ravioli at one another. Long gone are the days of the Jill vs. Bethenny Frankel feud. Or Alex McCord and Simon van Kemp’s co-dependent relationship. And while a lot has changed, Ramona Singer and Luann de Lesseps have managed to make it through.
RHONY fans have watched kids like Avery Singer grow up. We’ve mourned deaths, including that of Jill’s longtime husband Bobby Zarin. And while Jill the OG may have not held an apple since Season 4, she’s still an important part of RHONY history. So it’s no wonder she was invited to appear as part of Watch What Happens Live’s episode featuring housewives from seasons past. She earned her place.
This season of the Real Housewives of New Jersey truly has not disappointed one bit. We’ve had Jennifer Aydin’s iconic pool party drunk moment. Teresa Giudice is hornier than ever and is with a new man. Melissa Gorga and Joe Gorga are “fighting” which may or may not be another ploy at a fake storyline. And there have been nasty feuds everywhere, from Jennifer vs. Margaret Josephs to Tre vs. Jackie Goldschneider.
The season kicked off with a bang after Tre was spreading rumors at Evan Goldschneider’s own birthday party that he cheats on Jackie. This made the Jackie bomb go off that left her and her tragic weave in shambles. She could not stop bringing up Teresa’s nasty gossip every chance she got, even after proclaiming she was “over it.” And who could forget when she confronted Teresa and made the “worst analogy ever” involving Gia Giudice doing cocaine at parties.
Ever since Andy Cohen announced a special episode of Watch What Happens Live featuring the kids of Housewives, there’s been drama. The show will feature Brielle Biermann, Riley Burruss, Noelle Robinson and Kairo Whitfield from the Real Housewives of Atlanta; Frankie Catania, Gia Giudice and Albie & Chris Manzo from the Real Housewives of New Jersey. Also, Real Housewives of Orange County’s Briana Culberson and Shane Keough and Real Housewives of New York’s Victoria de Lesseps and Avery Singer will be thrown in the mix. And last but not least, newbie Brooks Marks from the Real Housewives of Salt Lake City will be there too. So there’s definitely a variety of old and new, with plenty of OGs making a return.
But apparently, some of the wives were not happy that their kids were left off the list and made a call to Daddy Andy to complain. Andy said it was someone with daughters, which removes NeNe Leakes from the suspect list (even though she would’ve been a good contender). It was a bit of a red flag that no Real Housewives of Beverly Hills kids were featured, but Lisa Rinna totally owned it and admitted it wasn’t her calling the network. We know that her daughters Amelia Gray and Delilah Belle Hamlin are busy working on becoming the next Kardashians anyway.
This week Andy Cohen gifted fans with news of a “Bravo Kids” special that will be featured on an episode of Watch What Happens Live. The special includes Gia Giudice, Frankie Catania, Albie Manzo and Chris Manzo from Real Housewives of New Jersey, Brielle Biermann, Riley Burruss, and Kairo Whitfield (THANK YOU) from Real Housewives of Atlanta, Avery Singer and Victoria de Lesseps from Real Housewives of New York City, and of course OG kids Briana Culberson and Shane Keough (YES) from Real Housewives of Orange County.
The “kids” featured in this special all grew up on TV and probably had zero say in showing their awkward years on camera for millions of people. So, this could be awesome! While the show features our favorite Bravo kids, there are some noticeable names missing. Yolanda Hadid’s daughters, Gigi Hadid and Bella Hadid are probably too busy being supermodels to show up on WWHL. But what about Kyle Richards’ daughters? Or Lisa Rinna’s? Nene Leakes’ kids? Or Jill Zarin’s daughter? Something tells me they’re dying to be included – and Andy has hinted as much without naming names.
You can’t get blood from a stone, but you can surely squeeze Bravo stunts for all they are worth. First we hear a Real Housewives All Stars project is in the works and now we have… Children of the Bravolebrities. If you aren’t staying awake at night wondering what haute couture Brooks Marks will release next, then who are you? Bravo has never ventured into these waters before, but it’s not a half bad idea. Why not hear from the people who never signed up to be on television?
While most of Bravo’s content stems from adults, often times the kids are the most level-headed. I’m looking at you, Gia Giudice. Some start out as toddlers and literally grow up before our eyes, venturing out into the real world and starting families of their own. They also have their fair share of challenges from cameras following them throughout their awkward years. Now Andy Cohen is giving fans the opportunity to catch up with some of the Bravo spawn and he has announced the line up. Spoiler alert, Milania Giudice got the shaft, but perhaps, that’s because she’s not 18 yet.
It could have been really interesting to have Dolores Catania and Dina Manzo on Real Housewives of New Jersey at the same time. They’re both close with Teresa Giudice. Dolores is close with Dina’s estranged sister Caroline Manzo, who Teresa can’t stand.
The Manzo ladies in the mix with Dolores could have blessed us all with some fiery arguments, especially since Dolores is not a fan of Dina’s.
This week your favorite reality TV stars were all about the family time. Potomac Housewife Monique Samuels posted a photo of herself with her husband Chris Samuels and their two children. Former Real Housewives of Orange County cast member Meghan Edmonds shared a photo holding all three of her babies in her lap at the same time.
Million Dollar Listing star Josh Altman spent some quality time with his daughter. Teen Mom‘s Leah Messer shared a selfie with her daughter on a swing set.
Lisa Vanderpump, Tom Sandoval, Tom Schwartz, and their other partners just opened up their restaurant Tom Tom, so you know what that means: Instagram posts from all of the Vanderpump Rules cast members at Tom Tom.
Real Housewives of New York alum Jill Zarin even stopped by the new restaurant and took some photos, of course.
Vanderpump Rules star Stassi Schroeder visited Amanda Batula (and presumably the rest of the Summer House cast) in the Hamptons. New York Housewife Ramona Singer shared her own photos from her latest Hamptons weekend.
