Claudia Jordan is the one that got away when it comes to Real Housewives of Atlanta. She shook up the cast dynamics, and wasn’t afraid to take anyone on. She definitely wouldn’t have served up a pandemic wedding storyline, thats for sure. Even following her departure from the show, this one keeps the RHOA cast in check on the regular.
Claudia has been known to call out the likes of NeNe Leakes in the past. What, like it’s hard? NeNe has done some insanely egregious things. Most recently, it was comparing herself to both Beyoncé and McDonalds in the same rant. The fuck?
Just because someone is no longer on Real Housewives of Atlanta doesn’t mean there can’t be some good old fashioned drama. Shockingly, this involves the recently departed NeNe Leakes and Season 7 veteran, Claudia Jordan. Fans of the show may remember Claudia and NeNe having a less-than-amicable friendship. Though one might be hard pressed to find NeNe in any kind of amicable friendship.
Claudia was a one and
fired done but left her mark. Her legacy formed as one of the few people who dared to go directly up against NeNe. Though she left the show, it didn’t deter Claudia from sharing her opinion. In May of this year, Claudia and Vivica A. Fox questioned if NeNe’s antics were the result of, let’s say, chemical substances. It wasn’t received well. Now, NeNe and Claudia are at it again. Apparently NeNe mocked Claudia’s experience with domestic abuse. You think you’ve heard of reading someone to filth? Miss Claudia just broke out the encyclopedia.
NeNe Leakes is coming off a season where viewers witnessed, quite possibly, the worst apology tour ever. It’s no secret the Real Housewives of Atlanta star, once praised for her shady one-liners, is now famous for
being a bitch her coarse attitude. Over the years NeNe has had her fair share of disposition issues, but her actions last season really stood out.
NeNe has offered many excuses as to why
she can’t act right her temperament is less than pleasant. When she isn’t throwing the victim card, she chalked her acidic nature up to her husband’s cancer battle. But let’s face it, NeNe wasn’t Little Mary Sunshine before Gregg Leakes’ diagnosis. Recently, former RHOA star Claudia Jordan and Vivica A. Fox implied NeNe might be blowing rails struggling with a chemical dependency. Now NeNe is responding to Vivica and Claudia’s allegations, and her reply might surprise you.
Being one of the original cast members of Real Housewives of Atlanta, NeNe Leakes has been accused of many things. One might say she is a bad friend, one might say she’s a bad partner, one might say NeNe’s entitled, often volatile personality could be the result of trauma. Speculation aside, one cannot expect to be portrayed in a flattering light when 99% of your screen time involves yelling at another person for the better part of 12 years.
Last season we watched NeNe lose most of her friends and become “caregiver” for her husband suffering from cancer. NeNe chalked her coarse attitude up to the overwhelming stress and pressure of assisting Gregg Leakes through his medical crisis. But what if there were other issues looming about? Is there something more to NeNe’s crazy attitude fluctuations? Vivica A. Fox has a thought and she expressed it on a recent episode of RHOA alum Claudia Jordan’s show, and she did NOT hold back. Vivica, you might be in danger girl.
Claudia Jordan is gone from housewives but clearly not forgotten. The Real Housewives of Atlanta cast member was only on for one season but made quite an impact when she famously went toe-to-toe with OG NeNe Leakes. But for some reason, Claudia just didn’t fit on the show. She made a quick exit before we even really got a chance to know her. I actually really liked her. Anyone who could show up on their first season and read NeNe has my adoration forever. Maybe she didn’t have the most interesting story line (ok, she didn’t really have one at all). Still, I thought she brought some much needed sanity to the show. I think every franchise needs one level headed housewife that seems grounded in actual reality.
Is Kary Brittingham that housewife on Real Housewives of Dallas? Honestly, I don’t know considering how new she is. She doesn’t seem to resonate with fans, despite gracefully handling now defunct cast mate LeeAnne Locken’s relentless attacks on her ethnicity.
Phaedra Parks was part of Real Housewives of Atlanta for eight seasons. Phaedra was married to ex-convict Apollo Nida, and we watched as they welcomed their two sons. RHOA viewers also saw their marital struggles as their union fell apart.
In 2014, Apollo was sentenced to eight years in prison for fraud and identity theft. Apollo was released in June of 2019, but he violated his halfway house rules a few days later. So, he went back to jail. In a decision that surprised no one, Phaedra filed for divorce.
When the explosive trailer for Season 12 of The Real Housewives of Atlanta trailer dropped, there was one glaring absence amongst Bravo’s favorite Georgia Peaches: last season’s newbie Shamari DeVoe.
While fans were quick to assume that the Season 11 rookie had been fired in favor of Kenya Moore‘s return to the franchise, Shamari took to social media to claim otherwise.
Cynthia Bailey has been having quite an eventful year. The Real Housewives of Atlanta star sent her daughter, Noelle Robinson, away for college. She survived the destruction of her friendship with long-time bestie NeNe Leakes. Cynthia invited Kenya Moore to an event without checking with NeNe first. Apparently, that is an unforgivable sin, and gets you demoted to co-worker status. Bloop! Cynthia claimed that she didn’t know Kenya was coming, but the damage was done.
In more positive news, the model made her relationship with sportscaster Mike Hill Instagram official in August of 2018 in honor of his birthday. In fact, Cynthia was so in love with her man that she predicted that Mike would propose sometime next year. Cynthia was ready for a lifetime of “CHill,” as their nickname suggests.
