Real Housewives of Atlanta is down one OG, but one thing is for sure, Season 13 is insane. Filming through a summer filled with a pandemic, fighting for racial equality, and planning Cynthia Bailey’s wedding, the ladies are back and very ready to party.
Viewers will meet two new cast members. Drew Sidora is joining the group full time and Latoya Ali will show up as a friend. Tanya Sam and Marlo Hampton, with her eternally empty hands, will appear part time as well. If a worldwide health crisis and extensive racial unrest weren’t big enough issues to address, we will also dive deep into the rabbit hole of STRIPPERGATE. Judging from the trailer and someone’s questionably placed ankles, this particular rabbit hole will be long, dark, and have dollar bills in his g-string.
Bravo didn’t originally intend for us to have a Tamra Judge-free season of Real Housewives of Orange County. Andy Cohen confirmed that Tamra was offered a three-episode role to wrap up her story.
That’s far from the full-time role Tamra had for years. Truthfully, that’s actually very far off from a part-time role as a Friend of the Housewives. That’s basically a cameo appearance.
Bravo is trying really hard to make Kate Chastain a thing in her post-Below Deck life. First, Andy Cohen gave Kate a short-lived radio show. Now, she’s hosting a talk show with Porsha Williams, Gizelle Bryant, and Hannah Berner. She also appears on special editions of Below Deck Med episodes, which are just the previous week’s episode with additional commentary from Kate.
However, she’s actually interested in joining another Bravo TV show.
After dating for a minute and a half, Real Housewives of Atlanta viewers witnessed Porsha Williams pushing Dennis McKinley for a proposal. Then, she got pregnant and it happened. However, they seemingly never actually started planning a wedding.
Instead, Dennis admittedly cheated on Porsha when she was pregnant
and probably many other times. I just don’t get why more than one person is trying to get with Dennis McKinley. Maybe it’s the hot dogs. I really can’t think of anything else. Nevertheless, Porsha has stuck around, desperately trying to make this thing work, even when he’s spotted at a diner in the middle of the night with a handful of random women. Welp, apparently it’s finally over.
Raise your hand if you’re watching Bravo’s Chat Room, I’ll wait. The new nightly talk show is hosted by various Bravolebrities. Porsha Williams is representing Real Housewives of Atlanta, much to NeNe Leakes’ dismay. Hannah Berner from Summer House holds a spot. Gizelle Bryant from Real Housewives of Potomac and Below Deck alum Kate Chastain round out the rest of the cast. They dish about subjects related to pop culture and of course Bravo
Bravo fucking Bravo. As you may know, Real Housewives of New York is getting a new cast member. Eboni K. Williams is preparing for her first season and she’s the first black cast member of RHONY.
Eboni will be a huge asset in several ways. She is a lawyer, honey. So out of the gate you know she can talk. Gizelle is particularly pleased to see Eboni come on board. See, Giz has beef with Ramona Singer. Ramona shooed Giz out of a photo in July 2019 and the incident has been burned in Gizelle’s brain ever since. Not much can get under Ramona’s very renewed skin, but Gizelle is hoping Eboni manages to provide a challenge for the veteran and just maybe send the Ramonacoaster off the rails.
NeNe Leakes who? The Real Housewives of Atlanta are full steam ahead and not looking back. What they are lacking in losing a veteran cast member, they are making up for with sordid tales of debauchery and excess. Congratulations are in order for Cynthia Bailey and Mike Hill. They were wed in holy matrimony over the weekend, but Cynthia’s bachelorette soirée was anything but immaculate.
RHOA is shaping up to have plenty of content for next season. It has a little bit of everything but NeNe. There will be a tad of something for everyone. New blood? They got it. Navigating social unrest? It’s there. Allowing a stripper to touch your no-no spot during a raucous bachelorette party? That one is nailed down too. Allegedly. After denials that anything happened but good clean fun at Cynthia’s partay, now the dancer at the center of the “scandal” is speaking his truth.
Apparently, Cynthia Bailey’s bachelorette party got very rowdy. The ladies were at a house in Charleston. There was a male stripper included in the celebrations. And apparently, some Real Housewives of Atlanta cast members hooked up with each other and the stripper.
Then, a couple days after that rumor circulated, it was reported that it was Tanya Sam and Porsha Williams who got with the man in question. And, apparently, newbie LaToya Ali was a part of some girl-on-girl-on-girl action (not my wording, it’s from the original source). Well, that just sounds so out of character for Tanya, who is still engaged to Paul Judge (as far as we know, anyway).
We all know how much Cynthia Bailey wanted to marry Mike Hill. Even before he popped the question, she was talking about their upcoming wedding. She even created her own (over-used) hashtag #Chill, which was clever at first, but got played out after its excessive use.
Now, it’s official. Cynthia did something that no other Real Housewife has done before- she got married twice on the show. And, no, those ill-fated vow renewals don’t count. Hopefully, the day went better than when she married Peter Thomas. Her sister hid their marriage license, making it clear that both she and her mother disapproved of the union. Clearly, their instincts were on point with that one.
