Lisa Vanderpump has a lot of lovers and a lot of haters and then there are the folks who don’t necessarily like her, but give her a pass because of her devotion to dog rescue. During her time on Real Housewives of Beverly Hills, Lisa’s entrepreneurial spirit produced several glitzy hotspots and probably her favorite business to date. In 2016, Lisa founded Vanderpump Dogs with the vision to make a dent in the animal rescue community and “create a better world for man’s best friend”.
Not even I can snark on that, so moving on. While Vanderpump Dogs’ mission is clear, it hasn’t come without problems. In January 2020, a former employee sued the organization for sexual harassment and now a particularly unpleasant situation has reared it’s head. A woman is claiming a dog she adopted from Lisa’s facility didn’t come with sugar and spice and everything nice. It came filled with worms and had the audacity to pass them on.
It’s time to play another round of, I Hate Lisa Vanderpump But Her Jedi Mind Powers Force Me To Talk About Her Constantly. Real Housewives of Beverly Hills wasn’t the end of the road for LVP. She has her remaining restaurants, dog rescue organization, and three television shows currently on network schedules. Former co-star Lisa Rinna has issue with LVP’s latest show, Vanderpump Dogs.
Rinna feels entitled to a piece of the dog pie since the creation of LVP’s newest spinoff floated during filming of RHOBH Season 9. Well guess what. Now Brandi Glanville wants a piece of pie too, but she wants Vanderpump Rules pie. She feels if other cast are paid for Vanderpump Dogs, she should be compensated for allowing the first episode of Pump Rules to kick off on a storyline courtesy of her piece of shit ex-husband. Unfortunately for Brandi, that piece of Pump Rules pie might be sitting right beside the RHOBH diamond.
Lisa Vanderpump and Lisa Rinna starred together on Real Housewives of Beverly Hills. They started out as friends, but ended as adversaries, though it’s safe to say LVP didn’t retain many friendships from RHOBH. Vanderpump’s last season revolved around a dog adopted from her rescue facility by Dorit Kemsley that ultimately didn’t fit in her new home.
After being accused of leaking rumors to mags, LVP was ganged up on by the cast and stood alone in her defense. LVP quit the show and ditched the reunion, but didn’t want her dog rescue legacy tainted by the puppy formally known as Lucy Lucy Apple Juicy. Season 9 offered viewers a taste of a potential new show centered around Lisa’s rescue organization, Vanderpump Dogs. At the time Rinna felt if LVP got another spinoff, she should profit from the proceeds. Lisa might think in the game of life, it’s Rinna take all – but LVP is not playing this match.
As we all know Lisa Vanderpump is crazy about dogs, but not so wild about bitches. So, since she’s forced to deal with wild bitches on Real Housewives Of Beverly Hills and other crazed critters on Vanderpump Rules, why not spend the rest of her time rescuing cute little puppies? We all need a balance!
Lisa announced that tomorrow will be the opening day of Vanderpump Dogs, her very first dog rescue facility. “It will be a first of its kind,” she tweeted.

Last night Lisa Vanderpump celebrated her first Vanderpump Dog Foundation Gala with friends, family, Real Housewives of Beverly Hills and Vanderpump Rules co-stars and former co-stars.
Lisa was joined by past RHOBH stars Taylor Armstrong and Joyce Giraud, current co-stars Eden Sassoon, Kyle Richards and Dorit Kemsley, and most of the Vanderpump Rules cast: Lala Kent, James Kennedy, Jax Taylor, Tom Sandoval, Katie Maloney, Scheana Shay and more. Sidenote: Why is Shay almost NEVER with Scheana?
Also spotted: Mohamed Hadid, Little Women: LA star Christy McGinty, Million Dollar Listing star David Parnes, Lance Bass (who is on the 2016 Honorary Board for the foundation), Real Housewives of Dallas star Stephanie Hollman and more.
The event included music, cocktails, a silent auction and more, all benefiting Lisa’s new foundation.
It’s no secret that Lisa Vanderpump is a crusader for all animals. She has a million pets and counting, she took her animal rights crusade to Capitol Hill, and I could go on and on with examples. It makes sense that LVP would hold a gala to benefit dogs. Lisa announced the first annual Vanderpump Dog Foundation Gala.
The Real Housewives of Beverly Hills queen will no doubt put on a spectacular event. I feel like Lisa never fails when it comes to anything charity-related and we all know that she knows how to rack in the money, so this should be a success.
