The Bachelorette finale does not air until 2 more weeks but we have some major spoilers here for you! Including the big rumor that Ed had a girlfriend during the show.
Stop reading now if you do not want to know what happens. Majority of this information comes from RealitySteve. This is the same guy that revealed what would happen with Jason Mesnick and Melissa Rycroft on The Bachelor earlier this year. He was 100% accurate then, so there’s a good chance he is with this info as well. Enjoy the spoilers below –
1) Ed Swiderski proposes to Jillian Harris during the season finale airing in two weeks (Next week’s show is the “Men Tell All” episode)
2) The “unexpected confession” on the season finale is that Jillian’s just-vanquished Reid Rosenthal, returns to say he loves her.
3) Kiptyn Locke will be named the next star of The Bachelor.
What we do know for sure according to RealitySteve, is that Reid did not attend the taping of the Men Tell All, which all of the bachelors with the exception of the final 2 typically attend. This leads us to believe Reid is not yet done with the show.
Also, Wes Hayden did not attend the Men Tell All taping at the request of ABC. The producers of the show are allegedly not happy with the way he has been running his mouth in an attempt to restore his honor. They felt he would be a loose canon on the show.
And finally, the big rumor for weeks has been one involving Ed having a girlfriend during filming. Say it ain’t so! RealitySteve was able to get his hands on an email exchange alleged between Ed and this girlfriend. The exchange is below -
An email was sent asking “So I guess we’re seeing other people now.” Ed responded with “No, I just need to wait until this show is over.” This girlfriend of Ed’s is under the assumption they are together and she just has to wait out the show.
It seems Ed left his Chicago girlfriend high and dry to go film the show. It makes sense that this might have been his reason for urgently wanting to leave the show, and not the job excuse he gave.
So who wins Jillian’s heart in the end? That is what we don’t know. The speculation is that Jillian might have pulled a Brad Womack by not choosing anyone. Only time will tell.

As I’m from Chicago, it seems that an acquaintance of mine works with Ed’s (ex) gf. At the beginning of the season I was told that Ed had a long term girlfriend (of over 2 years) that he indeed broke up with for the show… then just a week or so after the season had begun, we had learned that he had returned to town, asked her to take him back and was refuse… hmmmm…. He does seem genuine on the show, but the word in ChiTown is hes a sleeze.
Reality Steve did not get his hands on an email. Go read it again. He got an email from someone claiming to be one of her friends who told him what that an email was sent. He invited her to get in touch with him to tell her side of the story.
I really doubt that he would have drug his parents into this if he had a long term GF, or even one he dumped to be there.
I think that Ed is gross. I do not see what she sees in him at all. He does not seem genuine at all! Reid adored her. I really do hope that Reid ends up with Jillian in the end. Ed is just plain yucky! I think that it was too explicit this season…unnecessary! Kids watch this show…come on!

Hmmm…maybe the gf is the reason Ed couldn’t “perform” in the fantasy suite. God please let it be Reid she chooses or at least make him the next Bachelor!!
I’m really wanted Kiptyn to be the one, for Jillian’s sake. But I think Reid’s the one. He wants to be married and needs Jillian to make the decision for him. I really hope it works for them.
I think that Kiptyn is such a great catch. He seems well grounded and sincere. Ed? questionable. Reid? He Love Jillian. But it is who she chooses. For me personally, I think that she chose Heart Ache. Maybe I am wrong but with Ed’s history of On and Off again, he can’t bring her happiness. Ed should man up and disclose exactly who he is.
Ed did have a girlfriend when he left for the show. He told his girlfriend he was going on a “business trip”. He didn’t tell her he was doing the show and he didn’t break it off with her to be on the show. The reason I know this is because I happen to know his ex-girlfriends mom.
