In light of recent controversy surrounding one of the contestants of Megan Wants A Millionaire, VH1 has decided to postpone all future airings of the show. The rumored winner of the show is below. Their full statement is -
“Ryan Jenkins was a contestant on ‘Megan Wants A Millionaire’, an outside production, produced and owned by 51 Minds, that is licensed to VH1. The show completed production at the end of March. Given the unfortunate circumstances, VH1 has postponed any future airings. This is a tragic situation and our thoughts go out to the victim’s family.”
The exact controversy involves MWA contestant Ryan Jenkins being listed as a person of interest in the murder of his wife, Jasmine Fiore. Though he has yet to be charged, all signs point to him being the main suspect.
I’m a bit surprised VH1 is taking such a drastic measure considering Ryan’s alleged actions occurred after he filmed the show. VH1 has even gone as far as to remove information about the show from their website. I believe they are overreacting, as the guy is yet to be charged with a crime.
Plus Ryan is said to be a contestant on the yet to air, I Love Money 3, I wonder if they will yanking that off the air as well?

The rumor is that TJ Diab (please highlight to see name) won Megan Wants A Millionaire, with Ryan being the runner up. I cannot verify the accuracy of this rumor. TMZ however confirmed Ryan was one of the finalists for the show.

OMG! OMG! OMG! Rather than pulling the plug like VH1 has, Bravo would figure out how to give Jenkins his own reality show from jail. This is MAJOR stuff! That poor girl, Jasmine Fiore.
I agree, however, that little was gained either way for VH1 to stop airing the show.
This Jenkins guy assaulted another girl and just got off probation in April 08. He is a dangerous man and VH1 is so lucky it wasn’t one of their contestants murdered. They must be really cheap not to run background checks.

I think they should redo the season with new guys and there should be a website telling about all the other episodes because I’m curious to know why some people were eliminated.
man i wish i knew him in real life i will kill him myself i’m a big reality fan of vh1 shows and they pulled the plug to ILM3 is a damn shame some stupid idiot have to mess it up for everyone god i hope they refilm it.
Jenkins is obviously innocent untill proven guilty which of course is now very difficult to prove given what has happened but with that said it’s unfair that the viewers have to do without because of what happened. As mentioned no-one has been a me to prove him guilty so let the show go on. On the other hand I can understand if the decission to pull the show was out of respect for Jenkins family members. But it’s still a shame to be deprived of the one show that was truly one of vh1′s finest to date. Megan must be like ” it’s just my luck” I don’t mean that in bad taste! C’mon though this girl was being showered with lavish gifts left right and center… Vh1 all I can say is please give the girl another chance soon… In my opinion only It was one heck of a addictive show! Noone else has to agree with that.

I watched the show and I’ll admit I loved it even though I hate Megan with a passion. I agree with them pulling the show it’s just the respectful thing to do for the victim’s family and his now that he’s dead. I’m sure the victim’s/his family wouldn’t want to come across one of his shows when they turn on the tv. Who cares who megan picked it’s just another reality show I’m sure we’ll get over the not knowing. There are much better reasons for keeping it off the air than keeping it on just to entertain us.
