White House “Party Crashers” Want Cash For Interviews

As if it wasn’t bad enough that they crashed a white house party, both Michaele and Tareq Salahi have now contacted some networks in hopes of selling their story for hundreds of thousands of dollars, according to a television executive.

The anonymous executive reveals that the couple, cast to be on the upcoming Bravo series – The Real Housewives of Washington DC, contacted several networks to urge them to “get their bids in” for an interview. The Virginia couple is trying to cash in on their new found “fame” and are looking for a payment that is in the mid-six figures range.

In the mean time, the couple canceled their scheduled appearance on “Larry King Live” on Monday. Even though networks don’t usually pay for interviews, in the past they have offered to pay for highly sought interviews.

For now, It is unclear what the future holds for this fame hungry couple but we will definitely keep you updated. It’s sad enough that these two showed up unvited to the state dinner, to now try to cash in on their bad behavior seems pretty tacky and disgusting on many levels.

Meet The Cast of The Real World DC – Photos

MTV has unveiled the cast for the latest season of their long running hit – The Real World. The Real World DC is set to premier Wednesday, December 30th at 10 PM ET/PT.

This season was filmed for 3 months as production began on July 2nd, with filming wrapping up on October 12th.

MTV released the following statement regarding the new cast and season -

With high hopes and expectations, eight new roommates come to our nation’s capital for the 23rd season of The Real World, each pursuing their own passions and goals whether it be music or photography, political cartooning, or campaigning for Human Rights — while enjoying DC’s exuberant and diverse nightlife. Swept up in the excitement of the new administration to serve and impact change, the roommates experience their own personal growth and life changes: a small town Texas girl realizes her dream; the jokester of the house has to get serious when it comes to love; a dysfunctional romance threatens to divide the house; and a young man learns that coming out is not only a personal choice but a political one as well.

The Real Housewives of Orange County stars, Gretchen Rossi and Alexis Bellino visited the LAVO Nightclub at The Palazzo on Saturday night in Las Vegas, Nevada.

They both brought along their significant others, as Jim Bellino and Slade Smiley were also in attendance. According to Alexis, she hit it off with Gretchen and Tamra Barney during the filming of the 5th season. The only housewife she clashed with was Vicki. Alexis has still yet to comment on the starting details revealed by her ex husband in an interview given to Star magazine a week ago.

In a recent interview, Gretchen also spoke fondly of Alexis. “We’ve become really good friends,” she said. “I like her a lot…She’s cool people.”

The Real Housewives of Orange County are using their fifth season to really open up to us about their pasts. First Gretchen Rossi spoke out on her battle with Bulimia, and now Vicki Gunvalson is opening up about her past abusive marriage to her first husband.

Before meeting Donn Gunvalson, her husband for the past 15 years, Vicki says her first marriage was fraught with emotional and verbal abuse, nearly getting physical at one point.

In an interview with Life & Style magazine, Vicki reveals she was just 21 when she married her first husband, Michael J. Wolfsmith. By the time she was 23, she had already given birth to a son, Michael, now 23, and was pregnant with her second child, daughter Briana, now 22. According to Vicki, Michael “was an alcoholic. He abused me verbally. He had many affairs during our marriage.”  She recalls one horrifying incident while she was holding her baby Michael on her lap, “he went to hit me,” Vicki says. While he didn’t end up striking her, she was consumed with fear. “I was 23 years old and pregnant for the second time,” Vicki recalls. “I was really scared.

Vicki divorced him when she was 29. Vicki explains those six years, “were filled with screaming. I had to be his mother. I’d throw cold water on him to wake him up for work. It was a very hard life.” Vicki had a revelation as she approached age 30. “It was a pivotal point in my life,” she explains. “I didn’t want to live my 30s the way I’d lived my 20s. I wasn’t happy. I wasn’t loved.”

Vicki’s ex husband denied the allegations when contacted by Life & Style magazine. “I had bouts with alcohol, but it was not a problem,” he says. He also says he never cheated on Vicki or abused her emotionally or physically.

More Details Revealed About White House Party Crashers – Michaele & Tareq Salahi

More details are being revealed about the now infamous White House dinner party crashers, Michaele Salahi and husband Tareq Salahi. Michelle, a former Redskins cheerleader, is one of the Bravo housewives cast to be on the upcoming Real Housewives of D.C., which is currently being filmed.

Most reports and articles portray these two as being wannabes, posers, desperate social climbers who might also be broke. A quick look at Michaele’s facebook album will reveal photos of her with a number of celebrities ranging from Oprah, Jack Black, Matt Damon, Fergie, Star Jones, Ashley Judd, and even reality star Omarosa. This clearly exhibits the first sign of a poser – one taking an excessive number of photos with celebs to prove they are in the “in crowd.”

A CNN report paints the couple in a worse light, as they have been named in 16 civil cuits, and have left quite an extensive paper trail in federal bankruptcy and state court filings. One of their court cases includes a long court battle with Tareq’s parents over their family winery. Court records show Tareq sued his mother, Corinne, and the case was dismissed. Corinne sued Tareq and the case went to trial. Tareq and Michaele won control of the winery in 2007, but it has run into debt since then. The winery filed for bankruptcy back in February, and owes over $900,000 in debt.

In addition to federal bankruptcy, Tareq and Michaele may now face criminal charges. If they lied to federal agents in order to get into the White House dinner, that is a federal crime, says Fran Townsend , CNN national security contributor.

Bravo released the following statement regarding Michaele, “Michaele Salahi is under consideration as a cast member, as such Half Yard Productions were filming the Salahis on that day. Half Yard was only aware that per the Salahis they had been invited as guests.”

Not exactly sure what Bravo means by saying Michaele is “under consideration” to be a cast member. To my knowledge, she has already been cast and has been filming for months along with the other D.C. housewives. To sum this up, unless Bravo decides to do away with the DC franchise all together, there’s a 100% chance Michaele will be coming soon to a Bravo channel near you.

Hailey Glassman Accuses Jon Of Lying, Kate Spends Thanksgiving With Bodyguard’s Family

The Jon & Kate Plus 8 TV show has been cancelled and soon Jon and Kate Gosselin’s marriage will be history by the end of December.

This is the estranged couple’s first thanksgiving apart since filing for a divorce. Since Kate is estranged from her brother Kevin Kreider who reconciled with Jon last month, who better to spend Thanksgiving with than the Neilds. Kate and her eight kids spent Thanksgiving at their Wernersville, PA home with her bodyguard’s family - Steve Neild, his wife Ginaand and their kids.

Kate was rumored to have had an affair with her bodyguard earlier this year, which she has denied. According to Kate, the Neild family has been very supportive through her divorce. “They’re my best friends,” Kate said.

Jon on the other hand tweeted he was going to be at his “grandma’s” to celebrate Thanksgiving but Hailey Glassman said otherwise via her twitter. Hailey accused Jon of lying, reports Radaronline.

“LOL-U are in Utah snowboarding w/”friends”-lol-ur redic,” Hailey shot back at Jon.

Not exactly sure what’s going with these douche bags people. According to Jon, he thinks they are on break, or is the relatioship really over? And perhaps Jon didn’t get the memo.
