Bryson Bryant, son of Nene Leakes, star of the Real Housewives of Atlanta, has been arrested once again.
Bryson, who has made several appearances on the Bravo hit show, was released from a Gwinnett County Detention Center at 3:35 a.m. on Tuesday. “The charges are possession of a controlled substance and weapon by jail inmates,” according to law enforcement. “That means he had a weapon with him when he was arrested for possession of a controlled substance.”
This is Bryson’s second arrest in a span of one month. He was arrested on March 7 for possession of marijuana and failure to show up to court.
At the time, Nene called the arrest a “family issue,” releasing the following statement – “Like any parent, I am disappointed with the actions and arrest of my son, Bryson. My son is not the first young adult to experiment with marijuana, and he certainly won’t be the last. Still, as parents, this is a chance for us to have an open dialogue with him about the dangers of any substance abuse. I realize as a parent that my job is never done. And as I’ve tweeted, tough love was in order.”
Don’t you just love the way she justifies this? “My son isn’t the first and won’t be the last”. Yeah, but your ass was on national television talking about how you raised him to be “beyond” all that and how he was perfect and headed for greatness. How are those words tasting now? If you’d spent more time raising him and less on the pole he might not be in jail all the time.

She needs to get off the tube and be a PARENT to her son. I suppose he just plucked these “HABITS” out the sky?…or were his role models Greg and Nene Leakes? Of COURSE he’s a criminal – look who is teaching him you don’t have to work for anything? That lying and stealing get you a tv series and BRAVO celebrity status? Bryson is a victim alright – of poor parenting.
I just think NeNe is the biggest hypocrite and Im glad that she’s getting a taste of her own toxic medicine. Instead of running around hosting parties as if she were a 22 year old from the Jersey shore, she needs to accept her age and be a parent. Who gives their son a 40k truck for graduating High school? What message does that send?!

The only thing I have to say is NENE: Grow back your hair!!! You looka lika man! Terrible on you. You’re a tall, big-boned girl so the short hair does NOT work on you. And this issue with your son is your own biz, I proclaim.

I, for one, don’t feel sorry for her or her crackhead son. Instead of teaching him morals and values, she taught him to lie, cheat and scheme. She has an overinflated sense of entitlement and passed it along to him as well. As far as growing out her hair goes, that is a wig. Any time you see that awful ghetto hair that has “no hairline” pulled over hard on top of the eyebrows it is a cheap wig.
TMZ and People site reported the story that her son was arrested again and a charge for a weapon was added. An hour later, they both retracted the story and said that their was type of procedural problem (not charged properly) when he was arrested on March 7 and he came in to rectify that. There was no weapon involved!!
Nene is at clubs hosting parties, because they obviously need the money. We are in a recession and it takes money to pay the bills. She is working, what does that have to do with her child making a foolish/stupid mistake that could cost him his freedom!! A lot of us have made mistakes, we just didn’t get caught!! Thank-you Jesus
You know what? Nene your son just got that criminal dna in him. I know you tried to put a good foot forward with him on the show but he appeared then to be…a loser. And with all that money you got…just goes to show money can’t buy you everything.

I think people need to get a life when Paris Hilton brother got that high dollar car and he was what just sixteen it wasn’t a problem. P. Diddy buys his son a 200,000 to 300,000 car and he couldn’t even drive. NeNe do you and forget about the haters out here. If she was on the pole so what she was making a living for her family. It kills me how people try and judge other people like their lives are so perfect. We can be the best parents and our children still can be a screw up. GET REAL PEOPLE
