There seems to be something about having cameras around that makes certain people just want to make absolute asses fools of themselves. Case in point, Countess LuAnn De Lesseps of the Real Housewives of New York City, has decided to give Kim Zolciak some competition. For some reason, LuAnn has decided to embark on a music career despite being completely tone deaf and lacking any musical talent.
LuAnn’s first single, “Money Can’t Buy You Class,” hit the internet yesterday and in a new interview with PEOPLE today, LuAnn reveals she is shooting a music video for her song. A photo from her video shoot is below.
According to LuAnn, she is simply “trying to bring manners — and disco — back.” She tells PEOPLE. “When I made the song, I had dancing in Saint-Tropez in mind.”
And what does she think of the preview video Bravo has released showing her singing very off key? “I think [Bravo VP] Andy Cohen was mean to show a clip of me singing off key, but I’m a reality star; I don’t have the luxury that Beyoncé does to not show that footage.” Right LuAnn, because we’re all certain Beyonce sounds a lot like you in the studio and requires autotune to sound decent on a record.

In the video, which has yet to be released, LuAnn can be seen rocking long hair (thanks to extensions) for the first time in 20 years. “There’s not really dancing,” she says of the video. “I just have very good looking men standing around. And it’s about how money can’t buy you class, so I’m taking money out of their pockets and throwing it onto the floor.”
And we haven’t heard the last of LuAnn, her next single, “Chic, c’est la vie,” is set to be released in early May.
