Luann de Lesseps Is Releasing A Rap Song Inspired By Real Housewives Ultimate Girls Trip

I am loving Real Housewives Ultimate Girls Trip for many reasons, the main being that we’re getting to see long-time Real Housewives stars portrayed in a totally new light. The show is a fun mashup that doesn’t just break the fourth wall — it demolishes it completely. The ladies often are shown talking, bonding, and even fighting over their experiences on reality TV. For example, we get to see Teresa Giudice really explain her deep-rooted issues with Melissa Gorga over her joining Real Housewives of New Jersey. Or Kenya Moore talking about what it’s really like to always be cast as the villain on Real Housewives of Atlanta.

As for Luann de Lesseps, her issues with Ramona Singer’s behavior have been simmering for literally years and finally boil over. And with the confidence of other OGs by her side, Lu finally stood up to the Ramonacoaster’s incessant need to put her down. It was a moment that made me fall in love with the Countess all over again.

Lu is great for TV because of her unwavering confidence. Sure, she may not be the next Adele, but singing and cabaret literally were responsible for bringing her out of a deep funk following her divorce from Tom D’Agostino and drunken arrest. The Countess may be in her 50s, but she has a rock-hard body that rivals most 20-somethings I know. And, as Ramona not-so-eloquently pointed out on RHUGT, Lu is sexy and she knows it. When she’s single, she’s always ready to mingle.  I rival the confidence Lu takes on life with because no one can tell her no. In Lu’s world, life really is her own cabaret.

In true Lu fashion, her confidence has now led her to expand her music career into a new genre — rap. Nope, not kidding. Luann told Page Six that she’s preparing to release a rap song titled “F-Bombs on the G (With the OGs)” inspired by RHUGT. The idea was hatched when Mona and Twirl went head-to-head on the private jet on the way to their million-dollar mansion in Turks and Caicos. “We were doing an interview and Kenya goes, ‘Yeah, there were a lot of F-bombs on the G.’ And then I was like, ‘With the OGS,” Luann said, adding that she quickly realized it was a song.

The lyrics are directly inspired by the RHUGT trip. Lu teases that she directly references Cynthia Bailey’s messy Bailey-Q event and the ladies partying it up on a fabulous yacht. “I talk about F-bombs on the G with the OGs! It’s so much fun,” Lu said. While I’m skeptical of Lu’s rapping ability, “Money Can’t Buy You Class” will forever be a bop. And I hate to admit that I will be bumping the Countess’ debut hip-hop track on the daily once it’s released. I can’t help myself.

Lu took photos from the trip into her writing sessions with a producer with who she’s worked with previously She promises fans are going to flip, also teasing a music video component to the track. Darlings, did you expect less from the Countess? “I just had to write that song,” she concluded. “This song is going to be the bomb.” Lord, give me one ounce of the confidence that Luann has in her pinky, please.
