Good news for Real Housewives of New York City fans as tonight is the long awaited part 1 of the reunion show. Even better news? Andy Cohen announced today that the two-part reunion show will now be a three-part show! “We’re leaving very little of the reunion on the edit room floor,” said Andy.
So part 1 will air today, part 2 will air Monday night, and the final part will air next Thursday. Another change to Bravo’s schedule is the move of the hit show Watch What Happens to Monday night, starting this coming Monday with guests Ramona Singer and Dina Manzo. This is perhaps a hint that Dina is the New Jersey housewife leaving the show.
Back to the reunion news, the ladies will of course hash things out tonight and a preview clip of Alex vs. Jill is below.
In other NYC news, it seems Jill Zarin continues to be in panic mode as she realizes with only one week left of the NYC Housewives, she is still highly hated disliked by the show fans. First Jill tried to repair her image by attempting to befriend Bethenny again, that failed, then she tried attacking Alex, that failed as well, and as we reported last week, she tried playing the victim card by revealing to her fans via facebook/twitter that she was being threatened by two families, and of course that failed as well. And by family, does Jill mean Nana and the baby are threatening her too? Well let’s all hope Jill will clear this up for wondering fans.
The latest act by Jill, who was revealed as having hired 4 media consultants in last week’s UsWeekly issue, is to try to save defend the non too sane Kelly Bensimon, while also playing the victim role once more.
In a new interview with PEOPLE magazine, Jill, who continues to do more damage everytime she opens her mouth, claims Kelly was indeed picked on by the four other housewives on the infamous St. John trip. And it doesn’t end there, as Jill also says she can relate to Kelly because she, just like Kelly, was also picked on by the four women (Bethenny, Ramona, Alex and Sonja).
Excerpts from Jill’s interview below -
What’s your take on what happened there with Kelly?
I wasn’t there but I spoke to Kelly on the phone and she was definitely having a hard time. She felt that the girls were fighting with her and picking on her. She’s not a fighter. She can’t express herself in that negative way; she just can’t defend herself.
Do you really think they were bullying her?
You know, I wasn’t there but I can tell you that what I saw on TV looks like four against one. It’s bad. It was bad because they did it to me when I got there. As a firsthand witness, when I walked in and I felt that energy of hate on me, and that only lasted about 10 minutes, if Kelly was experiencing that for four days, systematic bullying, no matter what you call it, is not okay.
So according to Jill’s distorted view, it was four against one and Kelly, who was shown being antagonistic to all the women, was the victim. Also in last week’s issue of UsWeekly was a rather odd picture of Jill holding hands with Kelly while walking the NYC streets. The mag reported the picture was taken just days after the filming of the reunion show.
Must say it’s time for Jill to fire her 4 media consultants if their big plan for her redemption is advising her to align herself with Kelly, whom is considered pretty much insane by most fans of the show. What’s even worse than Jill’s odd attempt to defend Kelly is the fact that it’s likely not genuine and likely just another bad ploy to get the public to like her once again.
And since we’re on the topic of Kelly Bensimon, who continues to remain out of touch with reality, the latest comes in a new interview during which she brags about her highly ridiculed anti-bullying PSA video. “My bullying video has gotten over 80,000 hits [Note: 69,399, but close enough],” she says. “I’ve realized I have a voice I didn’t know I had. Mock it or love it, I’m making an impact.”
Priceless that the interviewer points out her video had gotten 10,000 less hits than what she claimed. Kelly also sees the upside in appearing like a lunatic on national television. She proudly proclaims that Episode 11—her meltdown episode—is the most downloaded iTunes show “and that’s awesome.”

You know–this is complete speculation but I am wondering if Lynn Chicago’s blog isn’t driven by her own comments? She has more comments than I’ve seen on any blog other one that is very well known, such as the NY Times.
She gets 500+ responses to *every* blog post she makes. That’s not normal. Even articles in People don’t get that many comments–not 500. That’s very suspicious.
I am a blogger myself and I follow many blogs that are extremely successfuly and no one gets that many comments. Think about it–how many do? And the Lynn Chicago site has been up–what, 2 months?
This is my take. I think Lynn Chicago took the train to Crazyland with our friend Kelly. I do. I think she makes all those comments herself. Undoubtedly, some are real–but I don’t believe that a blog only 2 months old could possible garner that many comments. Perez doesn’t, The Dirty doesn’t, Reality Tea doesn’t (and she/he/whoever is a far superior writer). Chicago Lynn is not really that gifted a writer–and her blog is nothing but an ongoing, unbalanced rant. I’m never going there again, I think because I feel there’s some major instability happening.

BTW–my blog is not an entertainment blog and I don’t want Anita associated with my blog–lol–ho’wives are my guilty pleasure. and I follow many blogs. That’s why I don’t put my website on the comment thingy.

Okay Lauren, Jill got Bethenny on the show, but she did not move her lips, write her books or cook her food. She got her on the show, she did not carve her from stone. Maybe you can help me understand where you are going. Bethenny does not owe Jill her 1st born child. She admitted that she has been comping and thanking Jill and Bobby the whole time. How much does she owe them? When is enough, enough? If you are being a generous person solely for the thanks and praise then you are doing it for the wrong reasons. If Jill were truly giving from the heart she would not be looking for a ticker tape parade afterward, thank you would be enough. I am glad she was called out today. She needs own up to her wrong. Originally Jill was my favorite but humility and as Alex stated basic civility would not be a bad fit for her right now.

@GingerTee, Well for one you have to understand that I accept the fact that I don’t know Bethenny or Jill Zarin, therefore I have a very neutral standpoint and can only voice my opinion based on what I would or wouldn’t do. PERSONALLY it seems like Bethenny cut Jill off once she get what she wanted out of her. If you are personal friends with Bethenny Frankel, which for some reason alot of her friends think they are, then please share what really went on behind the cameras. I am going off what I saw as an outsider. I would love to hear an insider provide their two cents.

I actually think that Bethenny’s show is a good contrast to the Housewives shows. On all the cities we have women who married someone old just to get a certain lifestyle so I think it’s a nice change to show a woman who has made her own money and is with the person she wants, not needs. I think it’s important for young girls to see the yuck factor in “screwing grandpa for a penthouse”.

Remember last week with Kelly Ripa on the WWHL w/Andy and they showed this clip of Ramona fanning herself with her dress? @Dyana – I couldn’t agree more about letting it go. Some people are taking the I <3 Bethenny/h8 Jill campaign too far. I think the key is remembering that Bravo does use editing to make a castmember look a certain way and tell a certain story.
Example: I'm sure all of the women have made an airhead comment at some point but it doesn't get aired, Kelly gets aired every time. And notice how Bravo has yet to air the entire cell phone message that Bethenny left Jill? The key is to take the show for what it is: a good laugh, a good discussion and leave it at that. We don't know these women nor do we have any clue what deals they made amongst each other to get camera time. For all we know Bethenny and Jill Zarin were sipping mojitos, watching the reunion together.

Kenny: what’s the verdict, is Bethenny’s fiance (forgot his name already) gay or what!?! He lit up when he met the assistant, which was the only time he smiled on the entire show. First he claims he wants a gay guy, but I have a feeling he’s into straight guys. He seems to like fist pumping w/ him.
The topper is he takes off to FL on ‘business’ w/out telling her and sticks her w/ his friends. Something tells me he’s going to be taking alot of unexpected trips. And who could blame him really…. The way she shouts non stop, even at her poor dog. This show is a snoozefest and I guarantee as soon as this show is cancelled he will be history.
I agree that B should absolutely let it go…but by no means bring jill back into her life. Jill isn’t going to change….and I don’t think that cameras change who you are…I think they amplify who you are.
