Good news for Real Housewives of New York City fans as tonight is the long awaited part 1 of the reunion show. Even better news? Andy Cohen announced today that the two-part reunion show will now be a three-part show! “We’re leaving very little of the reunion on the edit room floor,” said Andy.
So part 1 will air today, part 2 will air Monday night, and the final part will air next Thursday. Another change to Bravo’s schedule is the move of the hit show Watch What Happens to Monday night, starting this coming Monday with guests Ramona Singer and Dina Manzo. This is perhaps a hint that Dina is the New Jersey housewife leaving the show.
Back to the reunion news, the ladies will of course hash things out tonight and a preview clip of Alex vs. Jill is below.
In other NYC news, it seems Jill Zarin continues to be in panic mode as she realizes with only one week left of the NYC Housewives, she is still highly hated disliked by the show fans. First Jill tried to repair her image by attempting to befriend Bethenny again, that failed, then she tried attacking Alex, that failed as well, and as we reported last week, she tried playing the victim card by revealing to her fans via facebook/twitter that she was being threatened by two families, and of course that failed as well. And by family, does Jill mean Nana and the baby are threatening her too? Well let’s all hope Jill will clear this up for wondering fans.
The latest act by Jill, who was revealed as having hired 4 media consultants in last week’s UsWeekly issue, is to try to save defend the non too sane Kelly Bensimon, while also playing the victim role once more.
In a new interview with PEOPLE magazine, Jill, who continues to do more damage everytime she opens her mouth, claims Kelly was indeed picked on by the four other housewives on the infamous St. John trip. And it doesn’t end there, as Jill also says she can relate to Kelly because she, just like Kelly, was also picked on by the four women (Bethenny, Ramona, Alex and Sonja).
Excerpts from Jill’s interview below -
What’s your take on what happened there with Kelly?
I wasn’t there but I spoke to Kelly on the phone and she was definitely having a hard time. She felt that the girls were fighting with her and picking on her. She’s not a fighter. She can’t express herself in that negative way; she just can’t defend herself.
Do you really think they were bullying her?
You know, I wasn’t there but I can tell you that what I saw on TV looks like four against one. It’s bad. It was bad because they did it to me when I got there. As a firsthand witness, when I walked in and I felt that energy of hate on me, and that only lasted about 10 minutes, if Kelly was experiencing that for four days, systematic bullying, no matter what you call it, is not okay.
So according to Jill’s distorted view, it was four against one and Kelly, who was shown being antagonistic to all the women, was the victim. Also in last week’s issue of UsWeekly was a rather odd picture of Jill holding hands with Kelly while walking the NYC streets. The mag reported the picture was taken just days after the filming of the reunion show.
Must say it’s time for Jill to fire her 4 media consultants if their big plan for her redemption is advising her to align herself with Kelly, whom is considered pretty much insane by most fans of the show. What’s even worse than Jill’s odd attempt to defend Kelly is the fact that it’s likely not genuine and likely just another bad ploy to get the public to like her once again.
And since we’re on the topic of Kelly Bensimon, who continues to remain out of touch with reality, the latest comes in a new interview during which she brags about her highly ridiculed anti-bullying PSA video. “My bullying video has gotten over 80,000 hits [Note: 69,399, but close enough],” she says. “I’ve realized I have a voice I didn’t know I had. Mock it or love it, I’m making an impact.”
Priceless that the interviewer points out her video had gotten 10,000 less hits than what she claimed. Kelly also sees the upside in appearing like a lunatic on national television. She proudly proclaims that Episode 11—her meltdown episode—is the most downloaded iTunes show “and that’s awesome.”

Micky: bump. I can’t stand the shouting anymore. The reunion gave me a migraine. As soon as the one being attacked senses a smackdown is coming, they interrupt and start screeching. Jill is pathetic now groveling for Queen B’s friendship and the B is way too cold blooded to forgive. I must say between the 2 groups, I would not be joining the BRAS camp. Countless, Kelly and Jill together can get along and have sane conversations. Jill of course has no manners, but at least the other 2 do. BRAS are all attention driven and Alex is paying te price for defending them. She’s getting really ugly when she could have come out unscathed.
I’ll take another Atlanta HW’s reunion any day over this. They aired their most embarrassing moments and they were all laughing their AO at each other. I don’t need 2 more episodes of angry yenta at full volume.
Does anyone know when both of tonights shows will be on iTunes? Normally bravo puts shows on few minutes after midnight. Need to watch RHNY reunion! Help!

I just finished reading all the posts. I’m a little slow and behind, but on East Coast Time so I have to leave early to watch the shows. NO ONE commented on the fact that Jill had the price tag on the bottom of her Laboutins!!! Was I the only one who caught that?!!
Love, love, love the way Jill keeps saying that Killit (Kelly) is not a fighter. B1tch better learn how to bring it because she is always starting fights. He took a little getting used to but his take on things is refreshing.

Bravo to Ramona, Alex, Bethany and LuAnn. Despite it all, these ladies really did USE their 15 minutes accordingly. Now, although we all know that TV/Media limelight fades rather quickly (we Americans or shall I say many Americans) like our drama, even if its quietly behind closed doors where no can see. If one has a brand, product or services to promote – you better make the most of your FREE air time. Everybody else and sponsors will definitely pay for it but being that one in this venue pays with their privacy, life exposed and the likes – you should at least tilt the scales in your favor to benefit from the lesser of two evils that comes with this type of exposure. And shall I say, those four ladies are off to a good start. Hopefully they can mushroom it into something tangible for long term (I know Bethany, Ramona have very good shots at that). Either way, I think these ladies understood this when signing up. Signing up for creating a “bad image” of yourself for the drama and ratings of a “fickle public” is rather foolhardy. It takes skill to manipulate and maneuver giving both the public what they secretly want and living up the expectations of the networks and still come out a winner.

i hate to say it, but i like/love bethanny’s new show! and best line of the reunion was ramona as usual “i don’t actually call my daughter dumb kelly, i just said that to make you feel better.”

Lauren, you do not have to be a friend with anyone on the show to understanding what I was stating. A person that gives from the heart does not look for rewards or keep score, thank you is satisfaction enough. I never doubted Jill helping Bethenny, but unless Bethenny is an puppet, even with Jill’s help, she still had to do a lot on her own. You don’t to be a personal friend to see that either. Since I was trying to understand your perspective, I asked you to help me. No harm, no foul. In my opinion, Jill likes seeing her name in lights, they all do, but from what is shown, Jill does not own up to it. There are enough press comments from people who have nothing to do with show, tattling on Jill and her bad behavior.
Pretty funny how Jill opened her blogs back up on her site and I commented on it. The comment was not in her favor, it was up there for a total of about two minutes and now is gone.

Did anyone notice that early in the show, when Andy asked (jokingly) if anyone had taken a xanax or a valium in order to deal w/the reunion, Kelly (very seriously) chimed in with, “I don’t take drugs”? LOL.
RT reported earlier this week that jill hired 4 media image consultant and last night it was abvious that it ws true by jills ass kissing and behaviour at the reunion but in all honest it kind a worked i felt sorry for Jill i know i know i know but really Bethenny was very mean and Jill was kind begging her and i felt little bad for Jill but i still love Bethenny.
ok about Bethenny’s new show i love bethenny i think she is funny, smart and all that but to be honest with u the entire show i was looking at the clock I felt it was on for too long and needed more editing i think i would have liked it more if it was half an hour show but i am gonna give it another chance and will see it next thursday.
ps i spend yesterday reading all ur blogs i was on vecation with my girls for 5 days and one of my friends bull a kelly on us but she was messing with us and joking we had fun and really really good time

Do any of these woman have a kind bone in their body and can extend some empathy towards the poor delusional girl? AND REMEMBER, THIS EFFECTS KELLY’s GIRLS… just like that dumbass DANIELLE… Danielle is already doing damage to her girls but do the rest of the women really need to film their comments so that her kids can be taunted at school? AND I SPEAK TO ALL THE WOMENS children… but specifically to the ones that have impressionable young girls.

They are all massively insecure. Bethany and Jill tie for first place. Yeah, Jill fucked herself this season because of jealousy issues and she will only learn when she becomes honest with herself and changes because SHE wants to and needs to. Sorry Bethany, tell someone to change… well remove the log from your eye before you ask someone to remove the speck from theirs. Jill is a fraud because she tries so hard. Bethany is a fraud because she says she is honest. But she’s not. Anyone that acerbic and caustic and says they tell it like it is… really says things for effect rather than affect. I love how the tag line in her show is… “I dont let people get that close to me [sic]“… oh really? How the fuck did those cameras get into your life the past five years? (The Apprentice included). She ‘hides’ behind her ‘honesty’. Truth of the matter is all these women point out in others what they really need to work on themselves.

All in all, all these women need a good bitchslap and a reminder that their words affect each other’s kids. I think they are so mind-numbed by the cameras (and yes, i’ve seen it happen… the cameras do make people act out or shall I say, perform..) that they have complete disregard for all sense of decorum. Luann seemed to be the only one composed. She lost it when she was making out with that gayface early on and her godawful song.. .but otherwise.. she seems to be doing a decent job of keeping her kids out of the whole thing.
In the end:
Jill: own up to your mistakes. Lay low. Stop being an over the top critical yenta. You are not the end all be all of knowing everything. Your insecurity has turned into the girl you’ve always detested in high school.
Betheny: Your sarcastic (albeit sometimes witty) remarks hold alot of your nasty past putrid puss filled wounds. Your insecurity shows and its not as cute as your hairy belly. Your ‘honesty’ should focus towards your own self enlightenment and less towards the cutting down of others. You have a kid now, think about how you would want people to speak to her and direct your intentions to that ideal.
Alex: To quote back atcha: YOU ARE IN HIGH SCHOOL AND I AM IN LA! Stop with the quibble. Ya’ll age yourselves immensely.

Ramona needs to ask how old she is???WTH!!! Someone plz, she needs a pinot-grigio intervention. Andy called it best in last wk’s WWHL; she looked like an oil spill.
Alex is such a phony. She is trying to so hard to be the voice of reason (a la renewed-Ramona) that is so pathetic! She accuses Jill of all sorts of BS and cannot come up w/a single example, when confronted. We all know that it was actually LuAnn that made the comment about Alex’s kids climbing up someone’s leg (BFD) at a bbq party. But b/c Alex and Rude Mona wanted so badly to be invited to B’s wedding and be part of her show; they upped the ante and joined the attack-Jill club.
U can always tell the show is staged, when Jill lets Alex get away w/empty accusations and does not press her further for the truth.
Bethenny is so full of herself that she actually believes her venom. This chic is damaged goods.
Kelly should only speak thru an attorney or hire Omorosa.
Cannot wait for all reunion shows to get full pic.
BTW, I liked Kelly’s dress-n-strappy-sandals ensemble the best. Beotchanny was the worst dressed.

Although your shoes were really cute, they didn’t go very well with your dress. The green was too bright for a black dress and would have looked better paired with a more summery type dress or skirt. Also, you should remove the price sticker from the bottom before wearing them.

I’m glad that Alex got everything off her chest, she couldn’t really give examples because Jill kept cutting her off and not letting her get her full thoughts out, but Alex is right, she may not have clearly explained herself but I agree with her. Sometimes a person’s nonverbal behavior is stronger than what they say and I think Jill has done this to Alex a lot. And how F’ing rude was Jill to repeat that they weren’t friends, that was low class.
Kelly will be addressed next episode I’m sure, they are saving the Kelly and Poison Island situation for the juicy stuff next week. But it was funny when B asked her for examples and she said “what are you doing”. That poor girl makes no sense.

In regards to Jill’s shoes: They have stylists on the show and they can borrow clothing, shoes, jewels so it could be the price tag was on a ‘borrowed/loaned’ shoe. Hence, the sticker would not be removed.

Quick note to newbies – I’m not on anybodies’ team – season 3 has really shown all the “ladies’” true reality. None of the women are angels – Alex comes close and Ramona is just nuts in a harmless kind of way. If you notice though, I tend to clench my teeth and snark GodJilla whenever possible. She won’t be able to redeem herself.

What I am wondering about is Kelly’s response to being called a “fly”. Does she not realize that flies are nasty little creatures that wind up getting splatted? Does she really want to admit to being a fly and just waiting for the swatter to find her? She really brightened up at that question and it makes me wonder about her, it really does. I cannot see that there was anything even remotely pleasant about being called a fly.

If people don’t like the price of Skinny Girl Cocktails, you can complain to distributors and retailers, buy something else or have a Coke and smile. Blaming it on Bethenny is like blaming the Colonal for the cost of KFC. She gets a cut off each bottle sold, she is not in the back of stores with a price gun stamping $15.99 on each bottle. I want to start a campaign to lower the cost of Skittles in the orange bag.

I was sorry to see that Sonja was not included in the reunion & I hope she shows up in Part 2. I would love to see her interact with Jill (if Jill came back after walking away).
