More drama on tonight’s episode of the Real Housewives of New Jersey, titled ‘Youth Will Be Served.’
Danielle Staub’s youngest daughter Jillian prepares for her big break to be debuted at her sister, Christine Staub’s Sweet 16 birthday party. But when she expresses a few insecurities, Danielle encourages her daughters to put themselves out there…whether it’s performing a song or pursuing a career in modeling; does she push her daughters too hard or is she being a supportive mom? It also seems Jillian and Christine’s father aka Danielle’s ex-husband, Thomas Staub, will make an appearance on the show tonight.
Also celebrating a big occasion, Teresa and Joe look forward to their 10th wedding anniversary. With all of the rumored money issues that the Giudice’s are experiencing, will Teresa get the diamonds she’s been hoping for or will the celebration be a letdown? Find out tonight at 10/9c on Bravo.

In other news, another day, another new unflattering story about Teresa Giudice. The NYPost is reporting today that the broke Real Housewives of NJ star, who’s home items will be getting auctioned off next month, demanded $3,000 to appear at a charity event for abused women.
The Post reports a manager for Teresa said she would only appear at the July 19 New Jersey fund-raiser for Strengthen Our Sisters if she was paid. The event organizer told the Post, “Mike Esterman, who books her appearances, said . . . she would not show up unless she got paid. I explained this was for a shelter for women and children. He said it doesn’t matter…Danielle Staub, her daughters, and Lori Michaels came for free.”
Esterman however attempts to defend his client Teresa telling the Post, “I made it clear I only handle her paid appearances, and the fee is $3,000 and a car service. I said charity events have to be agreed by Teresa personally, and they should reach out to her directly.”
In other Teresa news, a new scandal is brewing in the form of Pizzagate. It all stems from Teresa’s comments during the last episode of the NJ Housewives during which she mentioned that she buys frozen dough to make her pizzas.
The only problem? It just so happens that Teresa has a dough recipe in her cookbook Skinny Italian, for what she calls the “best crust in the world!” This is leading some of Teresa’s fans to question the honesty and integrity of her book.

So I just finished reading Teresa’s blog (gag) on Bravo where she addresses some of the “rumors” floating around. All I have to say is that girlfriend is delusional. Funny no mention in her blog about her little trinket from Juicy.

My thoughts today on posters comments and the show last night:
The Ring: Wondering if it is a diamond, or a citron or similar gem less expensive. If diamond, it would probably be valued retail at $40-$50,000.
Danielle as stage mom: Can’t see much difference from Teresa taking Gia to acting and other performance classes and such.
And, the whole issue of stage moms is a many-sided subject – Discovery Channel (Crocodile Hunter’s daughter, Bindy) or Disney kids – (Christina Aguillera, Britney, Justin Timberlake, and all the other Disney kids who made it big – can’t remember their names), Partridge Family, Lindsey Lohan, Sean Asten, Elijah Woods, Will Smith’s son, the list goes on and on and on for and from years and years in Hollywood since movies first came out – gosh, even Shirley Temple, the Mickey Mouse Club (Annette Funicello), Captain Kangaroo.
Jillian: Since it was her first very stage appearance, her fear and dread would be normal for a first timer, yes? And/but if she feels this way second and third time out, then maybe it’s not good to push her into singing. Time will tell? She did get over her stage butterflies and performed well for a first timer.
Lynn Hudson and all those on those other sites and haters: Hope the talking about her here by some who have been to her site doesn’t bring her here and/or her fans here cuz that would not be good for this site.
Best to not give her or her fans a reason to come here and defend themselves and start another war? Just a personal opinion from experience with posters who jump sites and bring their own stuff to another site to the detriment of the site they jump to cuz they just like to play devil’s advocate, not matter what the subject. Just saying.

I know what the Dirty D has done and I don’t condone it but T made it clear that night as to why she went to Dirty D. It had NOTHING to do with “being a nice person and letting things go”. You know, all the bull shit she claimed during the fiasco!! The PROOF: when she told her juiced up hubby about that night!!
And just to educate some on here… When someone lays their hands on you, regardless of the reason, it’s WRONG!!! Why some ppl seem to think it was Ok for Ash to do what she did, I’ll never understand. To condone it speaks volumes about *you*!!! As I’ve posted before, I’ve been there and it doesn’t feel to good!! The ONLY time you have the right to lay hands on another is when your protecting yourself… PERIOD!!

@ IJS #151, I think it is a Yellow Diamond however, I don’t think it’s *natural* in color!
When Yellow Diamonds get the radiation treatment, that’s what they tend to look like. Sometimes they’ll even look like a low grade Peridot!! YIKES!! LOL Nothing against Peridot. It’s a beautiful gemstone as long as it’s of good quality.
That ring had to have had an outrageous price tag on it!! A few yrs ago, hubby and I were in Vegas at a gemstone fair and I was very close to buying a ring with a Natural Yellow Diamond. It’s total weight? .85 points. The Yellow Diamond was a .55 point Marquise Cut with .30 points of top quality white diamonds set in 18kt white gold. Asking price???? $3,950.00 w/out tax !!! Even though the one I was looking to buy was of Natural color, those that are treated through radiation, etc., they’re just as expensive!! :/
I was shocked when I saw that ring!!! With everything going on with the BK and auction, I just couldn’t believe he would buy something like that!! They’re truly DISGUSTING!!!!!!

@258 Montana27…I know exactly what you mean. Are that many people delusional?! Very happy when I saw a few comments that expressed my feelings. I tried to post on Alex’s blog since I thought it was pretty good, but wasn’t accepted. I was curious what posters had to say to Ashley, and there are many who aren’t happy with her continued actions.
I don’t Theresa actually wrote that Bravo blog, I think someone wrote it for her.
The anniversary ring: I had this funny/delusional thought (I now it’s a far reach, but, just saying….: Perhaps Joe chose a yellow diamond cuz he could tell the bankruptcy court is was just a less expensive gem, i.e., a citron or such and give it over to the auctioneer having replaced the yellow 5-8 carat diamond with a lesser gem stone. Ha!

Re: the “diamond” — I think it was a total and utter FAKE! Or, if it was real, was lent for when cameras rolling. No doubt in my mind.
Here’s my thought: (Qualifier: I have spent a fair amount of time living around the world and lots of time in New York. I know fairly well many Public Relations executives for companies. I listen to my PR friends talk about how they get the products they rep into magazines and onto shows.)
So much of what reality shows do is fake or comped, compliments of the Bravo, but more likely by the company getting free press, or given just given to the “stars” to be seen on TV. Its all press and free advertising. Many of these gigs are negotiated by the companies needing press, some just go direct to the stars or their agents.
An episode or two back I noticed one of the Manzos wearing a brand new “W” hotel logo hat. I thought, “wow, W wants to promote on Realhousewives?? huh.” For honeymoon night, J&T stayed at a cheap W hotel in Hoboken, NJ (No one stays at a Hoboken W when they could have stayed in a nice elegant hotel in New York City. ) W logos were everywhere. The whole episode was cheesy. I think Joe or Bravo or Theresa said: “Hey W we’ll look like wheeler-dealers and have a romantic weekend at your hotel with a big diamond and all and maybe people will think the W in Hoboken is where it’s at.” It’s that simple.
I dont know why Joe and Theresa keep up the charade. My sense is Theresa gets her agent to put together these deals to look “classy” and Sweet ol’ Joe goes along, (bless him). Like the whole InTouch profile: nuts Or maybe ol Joe had to do a make good on a bill owed and said he pull out a “diamond” at W and get some free press.
The diamond is fake, the hotel is comped, the parties are comped. This does not mean that Theresa is not real, oh she is, and she is a serial wackadoodle, and probably horribly misled about her importance, but the splash with J&T is someone’s business deal and poor W hotels probably figured it out after J&T filed BK and made fools of themselves. Hell, the Salahis fooled the White House.
I LOVE the show and the glam and watching some of the nutjobs on it, its great, ANd MORE SO, I love this RT site for the community and fun and laughs (but the product positioning is something to be aware of. )
