We said a while back that you couldn’t make these things up, and folks you simply can’t when it comes to the Bravo housewives. Just a week after showing off her lavish unaffordable mansion in InTouch Weekly, Teresa Giudice’s luxurious home items have now been officially listed on an auction website to be auctioned off on August 22nd.
The website, A.J.Willner Auctions, specializes in auctioning off home items of the rich and morally bankrupt aka Teresa and hubby Joe Giudice. The Real Housewives of New Jersey stars, who can been seen bragging about their lavish lifestyle on the show, filed bankruptcy to the tune of $11 mil in debt back in October 2009.
And not only does the site list Teresa home address, and a time for the auction, 12:00pm for those interested in stopping by, it also posts the photos of items set for auction from Teresa’s home. Oddly enough, a lot of the items pictured, including Teresa’s stainless steel gas range, flat screen TV, and crest leather & fabric sofas, were all featured in her InTouch magazine home spread.
Other items of Teresa’s that are being auctioned off?
- Schaefer & Sons Grand Piano
- Wolf 48″ Stainless Steel Gas Range
- 1080 Pure 42″ LCD Television
- Chippendale Style Arm Chair & Pair of Oversized Candle Sticks
- Round Pine Kitchen Table & 8 Upholstered Tudor Style Chairs
- Panasonic Viera Oversized LCD Television
- Dark Finish King Size Bedroom Set
- Love Seat, Upholstered Arm Chairs & Area Rug
- Connelly Antique Style Pool Table
- Faux Marble Chess Set
Yes, even the bed Teresa sleeps on will be auctioned off. Not sure if it gets any more humiliating than that. Unfortunately for the Giudices, their problems have only just began.
As we reported last week, Teresa and Joe are now being accused of perjury by their bankruptcy trustee John Sywilok, whose responsibility is to round up the Giudices’ assets and distribute the proceeds to creditors.
John alleges in court documents dated June 30 that the couple failed to list profits from several business, including Teresa’s clothing line TG Fabulicious LLC, a pizza parlor (which was shown in the most recent episode of Real Housewives) and her cookbook, Skinny Italian, which he claims was written prior to the bankruptcy filing.
The Wall Street Journal also reveals the Giudices are accused of undervaluing some of their luxury items in their bankruptcy filing, including a pool table ($1,000), wedding bands ($400) and living room furniture ($2,000). Like anyone would believe their wedding bands cost $400.
Jim Kridel, an attorney for the Giudices, however tells PEOPLE his clients are innocent of any wrong doing and he plans to object to the filing in court, saying they did not hide sources of income.
“The contract for Teresa’s book was signed after the bankruptcy petition was filed, and all money was received post petition,” he says, adding that the Giudices are legally allowed to freely spend money earned after filing bankruptcy. “If she knew the recipes, it doesn’t take four years to write a cook book,” he says. “It’s not a Mary Higgins Clark novel.”
As for the pizzeria, Kridel claims it is owned by Joe’s father, and therefore should have never been considered an asset at the time of the filing. What’s interesting is that Teresa said during last episode of the NJ Housewives that Joe owned the pizza parlour.
And when it comes to the book fiasco, Teresa is likely lying about that as well, because Teresa wrote in one of her Bravo blogs back in June that her book, Skinny Italian, went to press before Bethenny Frankel’s book, The Skinnygirl Dish, came out. This was Teresa’s attempts at fending off rumors that she copied Bethenny’s book.
So let’s dig a little more into this. Bethenny’s book came out December, 29, 2009 according to Amazon. Teresa filed for Bankruptcy on October 29, 2009. So according to Teresa, she signed the contract for her book, finished writing the book, and was able to get it to press, all within a 2 month span?! Well, we call BS and say it’s highly impossible unlikely. Plus one also has to wonder if Teresa is being made fully aware of her financial troubles. Showing off her home in a national magazine two weeks after their trustee filed documents to auction off her home items just seems surreal and downright moronic, but then again…
TELL US: DO YOU FEEL BAD FOR TERESA & JOE? WILL YOU BE ATTENDING THE AUCTION?
UPDATE - It seems the items listed on the auction website are only the featured items of the auction. A whole lot more of Teresa’s home items will also be auctioned off including all of the beds of her kids, all of the TVs in the kids’ bedrooms, toys, games, books, and even some of her baby’s items including the crib and rocker. Even her refrigerators and jewelry will be auctioned off.
Other items include the kids’ bikes, Gia’s ATV that was given to her on the show for her birthday, and also a boat owned by the Giudices. Poor kids. You can see the full list of auction items by clicking here. Thanks to our reader Anita Vacation for the link.

This is horrible! I fail to see how auctioning off the babies and childrens bedroom furniture will ebnefit anyone especially the kids. They have no say in how things have turned out! At least let the kids live in some type of Peace! This is ridiculous. Is this what our world have come to. I am sure they have more than enough in that house to sell.

hahahahahahahahahaha they deserve it all .. all the trailor trash talking, about how rich they are, and how many companys they have.. yeah right!!!. talking and looking good.. hahahaha made you broke as a joke. u bitch deserve the embarrassment. coming. dont live what you actually dont have.. you have zero$$$$$$$. bitch. and who gives a crap about the kids. they knew exactly what they was getting into. they deserve the embarrasssment. and learn from it.. i doubt it!!! hahahahahahahaha. why spend what you actually cant have treasa… its all out in open…….. hahahahahaha lmaoooooooooooooooooooo actually>…rolmaoooooooooooooooooooooooo.. bitch……..hahahahaah cracks me up here.
fatima u r such a hater, teresa did flaunt what she couldn’t afford indeed, but u would do just the same being in her shoes if not worst so shut the f…. up!!! u ghetto fatma
I feel sorry for the family but the moral of the story is not to live outside of your means…
ARE YOU KIDDING ME?????? This stuff is from a second home………..NOT THE MANSION SHE JUST BUILT. Look at the size of the rooms? The master bedroom that is shown above is NOT the master bedroom in the new house……….nor is the dining room that small. Her beach house I bet.
OK they are in bankruptcy because they cant or wont pay bills but, have put in a bid for over 50k to buy their things back. Where are they getting that money? Is this money they lied about when filling out the assets? They should not be allowed to buy it back. As for the kids it is sad that they are gonna lose their stuff but these are items that their parents spent money they didnt have on. Also when they where caught hiding assests and lying about income the courts had no other choice. These two need jail time. If it was someone not on t.v. they would be in federal prison. Now we all know why they always paid in cash no money trail they thought. How moronic to be on national t.v. blowing thousands at every store they visited, paying in cash, talking about assets and then going to court and saying they where broke. Jail is what they need no ifs ands or buts!
This woman is as dumb as a bag of hammers and they deserve all the financial difficulties coming their way. Like other addicts they have to hit rock bottom before they acknowledge and start to make changes. Unfortunately when someone claims personal bankruptcy we all pay for their mistakes the rest of the taxpayers. How can we not be outraged? Get your spending under control and learn to live modestly……that will teach your children volumes in life.
Joe’s a crook and Theresa is a ding-bat!!!
Seriously, how can anyone feel sorry for this slimy family. Those poor little girls are going to grow up stupid like their mother. They make italians look stupid! They’ll do down – just a matter of time. Let’s all sit back and watch! HA-HA-HA
good for she ras stop buy expensive shit you don’t need and can barely afoord
fatima you are one evil bitch! who thinks that kids should suffer for the sins of their parents? you are yucky!
Hopefully the giudices will learn from this the second time around. I feel bad for the kids though.stay within your means people!
what goes around comes around. when you are mean to some one it will come back 10 fold. But I know this was her dream home. I do feel bad. Though’s little girls that was there dream room and they will lose all that they love. No little girl needs to go thru this. I wish them the best of luck.
I don’t know why everyone feels sorry for the little girls. They need to experience life. Hopefully Gia will see that if you don’t have the money you don’t buy it. My goodness the girl is a brat and she thinks she should get everything she want. Reality check. Teresa is a fool, her husband is cheating on her and she knows it. Reality check.
Wow. You guys are a bunch of jealous haters. So let’s see if u had all that money you would drive a focus and live in a trailer right? Lol. Exactly and don’t say mean things about children. They have nothing to do with money issues. Maybe one day you guys can be so lucky to have a fraction of what they have after the money problems.
Over spending no matter how much money you have or make is never a good idea.
Creditors have to get something. The Joe and Teresa need to sell everything including kids toys to pay a small portion of their debt.
Too bad they couldn’t have handled their finances better.
So much wasted money on kid parties and the like. No sympathy from me except for their creditors.
TJ??? Please tell me you are not going to teach chorus!!
it is obvious that teresa and joe lied about the value of their personal items. but wouldn’t most of us? what they didn’t anticipate was that this private info would be available for all to see.. and therefore, they would be seen as liars. about the children’s items being auctioned. if you read up, you’ll see that the judge has stated that the children’s items would not be touched.
