In today’s Kim Kardashian divorce saga update, Kimmie is working over time to redeem her public image following backlash for her divorce filing after an entire 72 days of marriage!
Just less than a week after she filed, TMZ is reporting Kim flew to Minnesota on Sunday morning to meet up with her “husband” Kris Humphries. The news of Kim flying to see Kris is all the more shocking as just a day earlier, Kim herself “sources” close to Kim were telling TMZ she planned to go into hiding for a number of weeks. Wonder if that whole SNL skit (posted, below) had anything to do with her sudden change of heart?
According to TMZ, Kim is now all of a sudden trying to see if her two month marriage can be saved. She and Kris reportedly met up with their pastor yesterday for four hours, after which sources revealed a reconciliation is “up in the air.”
Sources reveal the meeting with Pastor Joel Johnson went well as the couple talked through lots of issues. The two expressed respect and love for each other while acknowledging there is a lot wrong with their relationship.
As for Kris, he is said to be “ecstatic” that he’s being used Kim came to Minnesota to redeem her public image and is hoping he can still win her back! As for Kim, she is reportedly very uncertain about reconciling, but is willing to keep talking.
In fact, Kimmie made certain she was photographed outside of Kris’ home yesterday just so the public can see she is really, really trying to save this marriage, you know, the same one that brought her over $17 million in profits!

Meanwhile, despite receiving a ton of backlash for hiring Kim to be in his movie, Tyler Perry is choosing to keep her in the upcoming “Marriage Counselor” flick.
TMZ reports fans have been flocking to Tyler’s website and begging him to fire Kim from the movie. One post read: “… why are you even considering putting no talent, show everything Kim K in a movie. I will not support that movie …” Tyler is, however, refusing to take the good advice of his fans back down telling TMZ Kim “is scheduled to work as planned.”
Finally, the Keeping Up With The Kardashians family were once again the butt of jokes on the most recent episode of Saturday Night Live.
In the genius skit, which aired on Saturday, the show mocked the entire family but mostly Kim’s quickie divorce in the form of a E! parody titled “Fairytale Divorce Special.”
In the skit, Kristen Wiig who played Kris Jenner said of the divorce: “I know a lot of people say Kim got married just to make over $17 million from the wedding but that’s not true — she also got married for attention.” Kim, played by Nasim Pedrad, however remained in good spirits in spite of her heartbreak. “Things are looking up for me: I’m single and there’s an NBA lockout!” she said.

In an attempt to void watching “E,” I tuned into Access Hollywood and low and behold there was pimpmomager Kris taking about her book and how funny she thought SNL was. But the more important thing is that she will be on again tomorrow and family pictures of her and the entire family will be shown on AH too. I will not watch it. I did not watch any of the shows she appeared on since Kim’s divorce proceedings and it was sickening to hear about the OJ drama again, as well as, the BS in her book. Also, I admire Tyler Perry. I just hear on the Wendy Williams show that Kris Humphries did not pay the ring. The ring has a value of 2mil but the jewelry store gave them a 80% discount and the production company paid 20%. If you do the math the total bill was 400k. The production company paid 80k and the rest was 320k. Of course Kim will pay Kris to keep the ring if he paid only 320k.
