Teen Mom 2 star Jenelle Evans is currently out of jail following her second arrest in less than a week.
Jenelle, 20, is pictured above with shackles on her feet in a black and white striped jail uniform as she stood to face charges in Brunswick County, North Carolina on Tuesday morning.
Jenelle’s attorney Dustin Sullivan tells Reality Tea that the MTV reality star was charged with Domestic Violence Protection Order Violation on Monday night. After spending Monday night in jail, she had her first appearance in court yesterday morning. Her bond was set at $1,000.
Dustin also reveals that Jenelle’s next court date has been set for February 6, 2012. She is now facing 75 days of active jail time.
Calling the charges against Jenelle “absurd and ridiculous,” Dustin states to Reality Tea: “Jenelle has been doing outstanding on probation the last 7 months. She has passed every drug and alcohol test that has been given to her on a weekly basis. She has completed all of the necessary classes required of her and is up to date on all of her payments.”
The two arrests in the past week stem from Jenelle’s issues with her former roommate, Hannah Inman. Jenelle is accused of violating a no order contact placed against her by communicating threats and harassing phone calls.
As for Jenelle, it appears she is attempting to take some time away from social media in light of recent events. She tweeted yesterday, “BYE BYE TWITTER. DEACTIVATING FOR A WHILE. :[." Though as of this morning, she has yet to shut down her Twitter page.
To sum this up, Jenelle is currently facing five different charges. These include two no contact orders, communicating threats and harassing phone calls as well as the latest one of domestic violence protection order violation. As we reported yesterday, Jenelle is at risk for more jail time if she is deemed to have violated her probation from beating up a former friend in a taped fight last year.

Wait, did she beat up another friend? Or is this the one we all saw on tape last year? I read the people accusing her of were also arrested for threatening Janelle.
This child has been arrested so many times it’s almost a joke….she needs to find a whole new crowd of people to hang with…and get outta the gutter.
I hope Keiffer is not anywhere near here.

I do not believe that she has been clean for 7 months……she has yet to make good choices in ANY areas of her life. Throw her in jail- she is a criminal who is not worthy of Jace.

I can’t stand the way we’re told how “outstanding” people are doing on probation, like we’re supposed to be thrilled they’re doing what the rest of us do WITHOUT a court order. Yippee for you! You followed the law this week! Give them a freaking award. *rolls eyes*

lmao did you see how bad she needed weed in the episode last night, it was like she was gonna die if she didn’t and she didn’t care that she had a court date coing up i dont belive she has been clean, just lucky. shes a mess, its hard to feel bad for someone who keeps messing up and says they will do better

WTF is wrong with these kids??? Where the hell are the parents??? I don’t watch this show, but I do ocassionally read the recaps. I can only imagine her upbringing if this is how she turned out.
I know one thing! Had that been me, I probably wouldn’t be able to type today LOL! That also goes for my kids. With all the crap we (as parents) put up with until our children become young adults, I EXPECT progression, not regression. This little girl needs to sit her ass in jail for a few months. WTF was she thinking? And where are her children/child? Who is doing the caretaking?
Sorry, but I said it before and i’ll say it again, she shoulda gave poor Jace up for adoption…he woulda been better off, he’s gonna have serious issues in the future because of Jenelle and Barbra’s fighting and instability!!!
They need to leave Jace with Grandpa Mike. At least he doesn’t scream or go off. He’s just an old hippie.

That picture of her above is the worst I’ve seen yet! With her hands clasped like that it’s almost like she’s on her way to receive Holy Communion in shackles and a striped prison outfit. LOL.
Poor little Jace has this one and all the other pictures of his dumbass mommy going to court and jail to look forward to when he grows up.

I totally agree with all the other comments. She’s not even in her mid twenties & she has this many arrests? WTH is going on? It’s ridiculous when viewers characterize Jenelle as “the smart one”. Smart how? By making the same mistakes? At least Kailyn & the Mom of the twins take their kids seriously. Jenelle is many things, but a mother seems to be low on the priority list.
