Carole Radziwill Describes The New Season Of Real Housewives of New York As “Bat S#*! Crazy”; Ramona Singer Is The “Voice Of Reason”

The Real Housewives of New York City - Season 6

Carole Radziwill is returning for her second season of Real Housewives of New York – and the season looks epic, drama-full, and frankly, scary.

Or as Carole describes the season in a new interview with All Things Real Housewives, "On a scale from 1 to bat shit crazy? It’s bat shit.” Oh lord.

"This season looks very different from the last one — there will be the usual screaming, crying and drinking, of course. But let me put it this way, this season Ramona [Singer] is the voice of reason – well, with a few hiccups,” Carole elaborates. I refuse to believe Pinot is the voice of anything except Turtle Time and I stand by this judgment until the bitter end.

Carole also reveals that despite the insanity, she has no regrets about joining. She says, "it’s not as though it was a life-changing decision, like having a kid or getting married. It’s a TV show, and life goes on.”

Carole initially signed on because of her close friendship with Andy Cohen. "Bravo wanted to replace half of the New York cast and I suppose he thought I’d make a good addition," Carole recalls. "Andy is extremely astute and has a sixth sense about what an audience will like, and how to make a dynamic ensemble cast. And I made a decision I thought would be interesting for my life at the time.”

Carole has another connection to Bravo however – a fellow Housewife friend from a rival franchise!

Yolanda Foster and I have been friends for a long time," Carole reveals. "So, naturally, I would love to bring her to New York. Who knows, maybe I do….Stay tuned.” I would pay very, very good money to see the high priestess of lemontology go to battle against the high, well, the just high Pinot-monger.

From her own cast Carole has formed a real friendship with Heather Thomson. “Heather and I are good friends both on and outside of the show. She and I share a similar philosophy about work and friends and family." When asked if she has any enemies on the show, Carole replied "Yes" and refused to go into details.

My money is on Aviva Drescher turning evil, Carole and LuAnn de Lesspes forming an unlikely truce and Carole vs. Sonja Morgan being epic!

Other than the show Carole is releasing her second book and first novel, The Widow's Guide To Sex & Dating. Described as a fictional, comedic follow-up to her harrowing memoir What Remains, (which is amazing!) Carole shares, "I think readers will love it. Well, I hope.” The book drops in February and then Carole heads out on a book tour to promote it. She's also putting together a collection of essays.

When asked if Carole had read any other Housewives books, she admitted to taking a peek at Brandi Glanville's bestseller Drinking & Tweeting. "I don’t think I’ve ever read so many four-syllable words in one book!" Carole exclaimed.
