Tori Spelling True Tori

Good news: Tori Spelling is out of the hospital. Random news: She’s sporting new grey hair extensions. Bad news: Tori Spelling is making the press rounds to promote the new season of True Tori. Yesterday, she appeared on Today, and Hoda and Kathie Lee coddled the special snowflake beyond belief. Tori’s first post-hospital interview came hot on the heels of several secret sources spilling their guts to Us Magazine.

Here’s a source, there’s a source, everywhere there’s a secret source…

One source claimed Tori and Dean McDermott are barely speaking. I believe it. Dean was in the building but he did not sit with Tori during her interview. A second source shared, “There appears to be no love between them. When the cameras are off, they’re cold toward one another.” A third insider insinuated that Tori‘s recent grab for attention hospitalization for ebola/bronchitis/mental breakdown was the final nail in the coffin.

Mother's Day Luncheon

With her marriage on the rocks and inter-family squabbling continuing to heat up, Tori Spelling might seriously be on the brink of a meltdown. The True Tori reality star and Hollywood heiress is surrounded by drama and it seems she has nowhere to turn.

Tori’s leech husband Dean McDermott recently revealed his intentions to leave True Tori, even though it was a show designed to help save his marriage, as well as his thoughts of suicide. Driving the harsh news home was Dean’s claim that mother-in-law Candy was not willing to support her daughter’s family financially.

“In my recovery, all I can be is honest and no. No. There’s no financial help,” McDermott claimed.

Disney On Ice Rockin' Ever After

Dean McDermott has certainly been put through the ringer over the last year. After the news broke last December that he had cheated on his wife, Tori Spelling, the troubled couple chose to document the process of repairing their fractured marriage and Dean’s time in rehab on the Lifetime reality show True Tori.

To say that the show is hard to watch, is putting it mildly. On the heels of his wife’s week long hospital stay for a mental breakdown variety of sicknesses, Dean announced that he is leaving True Tori.

Tori Spelling

Tori Spelling and Dean McDermott have a lot more than just relationship problems. The troubled reality stars have been sharing their quest to keep their marriage afloat since April on True Tori. The Lifetime series is seriously like watching a train wreck, it is so gruesome to look at, yet you just can’t look away.

Last night while crying over her money woes, Tori claims that the family lives paycheck to paycheck, making supporting her four kids and husband difficult.

If you recall — Tori grew up SUPER WEALTHY — when her dad Aaron Spelling died he left behind $600 million, but sources claim the reason Tori only received $800,000 was because of her excessive spending. Spending habits that she still seems to maintain, even though she is not on Daddy’s payroll anymore.

A stressed Tori Spelling broke down in tears on True Tori last night. Well, err, she covered her face and whined obnoxiously when she felt pressured to sell a warehouse full of her stuff to make money. And it is out with the old storyline, cheating husband, and in with the new storyline, financial crisis.

Tori is a hoarder, but she doesn’t want to sell anything <boohoohoo> because her dad would not have wanted her <boohoohoo> to live modestly.

When Dean McDermott asked why she’s so against selling the stuff, Tori said, “It’s a life I built. It’s a life I worked really hard for. Everyone mocked me… they thought my dad gave me everything. They gave me nothing. I worked so hard for all of that. It’s MY stuff. At 41 years old, I don’t want to think I have to sell off everything to start over. My dad would not have wanted this.”

Well, color me shocked! True Tori is coming back for a second season. Forget about that very public affair of Dean McDermott that was tabloid fodder for months as he and his wife Tori Spelling prepped for their latest reality series. Pretend like the world didn’t watch as they went to therapy about said infidelity. Let’s not even get started on Tori’s subsequent hospitalization for stress. No big deal! Apparently, it’s all about living life on camera no matter what. Why am I so surprised? After all, I blog about people just like them (lovers of attention, every last one!) almost every single day.

Still, after a very raw and awkward first season, I couldn’t believe that Tori and Dean would put their young family back in the spotlight. I guess I should look for themes. This season will totally be “the rebuilding.” Am I right?

To promote her latest book, Tori Spelling promised stories of woe surrounding her self-proclaimed financial ruin. Basically, Tori boohooed about being broke to promote Spelling It Like It Is, and then she expected us to believe she bounced back from her dire financial situation shortly after the book's release.

Candy Spelling appeared on The Talk – and she called out Tori's lies.

When Julie Chen asked about Tori's lack of money, Candy said the "rumors" are not true. "I'd never leave my kids in the lurch. I can't imagine any parent doing that – and I'm always there to support her. I even bought them a house in Malibu," boasted Candy. "I think it was an angle she took for her book."

So it is exactly like Tori's marital distress angle for True Tori? Got it.
