Last week, Terrence Cook, aka Drama, a former client of Phaedra Parks, Attorney At Law, made an alleged bomb threat to her office, ostensibly because he was unhappy with Phaedra‘s representation of him years ago and blamed her ruining his rap career.
Yet with the spin of a platinum record Phaedra, who is active in Black Lives Matter and was at the DNC Black Caucus when the supposed threat occurred, claims that police and office staff over-reacted, racially profiled Drama (who spent time in prison for armed robbery), and accused him of a crime when there wasn’t one!

The Real Housewives Of Atlanta star says Drama is actually a good friend and was visiting her office to show her his new “bomb ass” CD. Phaedra told TMZ that unfortunately Drama got off on the wrong floor (previous reports said he went to the wrong building), so when he asked the receptionist to see Mizzzz Parks, he was told to leave because he had the wrong office.
Some sort of verbal exchange ensued, and Drama refused to leave saying Phaedra was expecting a visit from him. The receptionist then called security.
This is where things get chaotic. It’s all in a word, kids – all in a word!
According to Drama’s mother, he informed security his reason for the visit was, “I have a bomb CD. It’s about to blow up.” Security panicked, and then asked if he anything else explosive. Drama allegedly replied, “I got that bomb ass CD in the car.” (Police found a package of CDs in his car, which was in the parking garage).
Misconstruing the meaning of his words, security called the police. They immediately evacuated the building and arrested Drama for making terroristic threats. Neither Drama nor his car contained weapons or explosives, although he did have a book in his possession!
Phaedra agrees that Drama didn’t use the best vocabulary to describe his music, but she blames police and office staff for escalating a misunderstanding because Drama is a black man with gold teeth, wearing baggy clothing.
Drama is currently being held without bail, and Phaedra, who has been in contact with him, plans to get him a criminal attorney. Well, I imagine we’ll be seeing this Phaedra Parks heroine storyline on the upcoming season of Real Housewives Of Atlanta!
