Joe And Melissa Gorga’s Franklin Lakes Mansion (That They Never Lived In) Gets A Buyer

Melissa Gorga and Joe Gorga always have something in the works when it comes to real estate on Real Housewives of New Jersey. It seems as if they are always remodeling, decorating, or building a home.

To throw it back to Melissa’s first season on RHONJ, she claimed that she and sister-in-law Teresa Giudice had a competitive relationship and some of the tension stemmed from their Jersey mansions. Now, Joe and Melissa‘s Franklin Lakes mansion has a buyer.

Yes, I’m referring to the house that they were building for an entire season and never actually moved into like they originally planned, when they wanted to get away from Teresa and her family. Wow. Times have really changed, but in a good way – at least in my opinion. The deal has not completely closed, but having an interested buyer for such a massive property is definitely good news.

According to an article from NJ.com, the couple wanted $2.65 million for the mansion and they got an offer that is pretty close to their asking price, which is great news. I’m sure that a 10,000-square-foot crib is pretty hard to sell.

The mansion, which sits on a one-acre corner lot, contains five bedrooms, six bathrooms, a two-story great room, super sized walk-in closets, and more. You can click here to see pics of the house on NJ.com.

Even though I’m happy that the Gorgas and Giudices enjoy living close to each other these days, it’s still kind of shocking Melissa and Joe gave up the house after all the effort and onscreen bragging that went into the place.
