When Teresa Giudice first graced television screens in The Real Housewives of New Jersey in 2009, fans were instantly captivated. She was bold, charismatic, unafraid of saying what was on her mind, and never backed down from a fight.
No one can say they weren’t 100% into the drama of her table-flipping first season finale meltdown. That moment cemented Teresa in Housewives history, and love her or hate her, fans have been along for the ride ever since. However, years of family drama and fights hounded her, and eventually it all got so heavy.
But now, on Real Housewives Ultimate Girls’ Trip: Roaring 20th, fans are enjoying Teresa again sans the RHONJ baggage. And they’re remembering why they fell in love with her.
Teresa Giudice has left the drama in New Jersey on Real Housewives Ultimate Girls Trip: Roaring 20th

Teresa has laid it all out there over the years. Fans have seen her flip tables, go to prison, fight with family, get a divorce, and fall in love again.
However, as RHONJ continued, Teresa became more entrenched in conflict and drama. From her infamous years-long feud with her brother Joe Gorga and his wife Melissa Gorga, to her fight with Margaret Josephs, the fighting just became the center of attention, and instead of the charismatic television star fans first met, Teresa just seemed to dig deeper with each passing conflict.
But that has started to change. Perhaps enough time has passed, or perhaps even Teresa has grown tired, but after RHONJ went on pause, Teresa got the time to take a breath, mend some fences, and make some changes in her life. On RHUGT, the first Housewives show we’ve seen Teresa in since 2024, she gets to leave all the heavy baggage behind and just be herself.
Even Andy Cohen surprisingly commented that Teresa appeared to be having fun shooting RHUGT. Fans can see it, too! She’s lighter, vibing more, and letting things slide a bit more. When Vicki Gunvalson “poked the bear” at the boat party, she didn’t immediately flip her off the boat. And fans are appreciating her ability to rein it in. “When Teresa pauses, she’s calibrating. Do I stay calm or go off? I like that she stayed calm,” said @esteco on X.
Fans are loving seeing her go back to just being her fun self. “Teresa Giudice asking ChatGPT who the most “iconic Housewife” is is the most Teresa thing I’ve ever heard,” @Dustin_Cone posted on X. They’re also enjoying seeing her bestie bond grow with Lisa Barlow of Real Housewives of Salt Lake City, who she has no problem defending this season (Watch out Heather Gay!)
Teresa is absolutely off to an incredible start on RHUGT. “Teresa’s impact is undeniable,” @HousewivesHub shared on X. “She really is THAT girl.” We can’t wait to see what she does this season!
TELL US – ARE YOU LOVING TERESA ON RHUGT SO FAR? WHAT ARE YOU LOOKING FORWARD TO SEEING FROM HERE THIS SEASON?
