Friendships are falling apart left and right on Married to Medicine – first it was Quad Webb-Lunceford and Mariah Huq and now it is Toya Bush-Harris and Dr. Simone Whitmore. On the season premiere, we found out that Dr. Simone "freaked up on" Toya's husband Dr. Eugene Harris at a charity bowling event. IMO, Toya has handled the situation all wrong, and Dr. Simone has overreacted to every situation so far this season. #BrokeDoctorProblems
Like good little Bravolebrities, Toya and Dr. Simone took to their Bravo blogs to discuss their heated confrontation. Toya jumped right in: "Excuses, Excuses, Excuses… Dr. Simone, my dear friend, my under pressure, over worked friend, my very forgetful friend, and, most importantly, my friend who obviously loves to drink while bowling – please stop with the excuses and own that your behavior towards my husband and my marriage was wrong."
Quad Lunceford-Webb pays a visit to Lisa Niccole's house to discuss Dr. Heavenly's Black Tie fiasco. Lisa Nicole has a business partner who is a familiar friend (with another new face) – Dwight Eubanks! I hope his partnership with Lisa is more lucrative than his affiliation with She By SheBroke's fashion show. Dwight is looking good – his nose seems to have some added putty, his cheeks a little fuller, and he's rocking a fade.
They dive into the ludicrous behaviors of Mariah Huq – and her 'When Doves Died' outfit at Heavenly's. "What the hell," wonders Dwight. Exactly – the perfect way to sum up Mariah.
Dr. Heavenly was offended when Dr. Jackie fat shamed Miss Georgia Plus at a bowling charity event. So, Dr. Heavenly confronted Dr. Jackie at the next party, and then Jackie was mad about Heavenly's choice of time/place for said confrontation. Um, because a bowling alley is the ideal place for an unsolicited medical lecture? #PotKettleBlack
Dr. Heavenly and Dr. Jackie to their Bravo blogs to hate on each other some more. Dr. Heavenly thinks Jackie is unhappy, and Dr. Jackie says Heavenly has no class. Oh yes, Married to Medicine is back with a vengeance.
Sure, I felt bad for her, but I'm pumped up about a Mariah-free Quad on my TV. #SheHilarity #QueenBeeBeGone #QuadLikesHashtags
Quad took to her Bravoblog to entertain and educate. "Yes honey the ladies of #Married2Med are back," she began. "I must say since season one, a lot has changed and for good reason. We have added new faces, discovered new personalities, and revealed FAKE friends. #UlteriorMotives"
Last night was the season premiere of Married To Medicine and things kicked off with a bang! Dr. Heavenly Kimes, dentist, not doctor, definitely brought her a-game in the drama department and wants it known she is not to be trifled with.
But let's begin with last season's drama! Mariah Huq and Quad Webb-Lunceford are not friends. There are varying accounts of why said friendship broke up, but one account is clearly rooted in the same deep-seated delusion that allows one to think lime green eyeshadow smeared up to your eyebrows looks hot. Yaaaaaas, I'm talking about Mariah!
While Quad is worrying about how to thwart Dr. Gregory's babymaking attempts now that she's quit her job to flounce around in lingerie, design dog clothes, and do photo shoots with designers to prove her divatude, Gregory has baby fever. Quad worries that since they've only been married a year she's not ready. Gregory points out that she's on the "backend of 30" and he is 13-years-older so no time like the present to ditch the condoms and get at it!
Season one brought us so so much drama – from Docks on the Dock to Toya and Mariah's poolside brawl to Lemon Squeeze – so let's take a look back at the season. And check out a sneak peek of tonight's season two premiere.
Anyway, unsurprisingly Mariah explains that dealing with the likes of Krayonce could push anyone's buttons and that reality TV encourages outbursts.
"I always said what I wouldn’t do and then when I got on TV, things changed. It’s tough," the Married To Medicine star said on The Purple Girl radio show. "They hit you in a place that you didn’t know existed when those cameras come on."
