Happy Monday! Take a look at what the reality stars did over the weekend in our new reality star sightings photo roundup! Above: Real Housewives of Atlanta’sCynthia Bailey attended the Vision Community Foundation 5th Annual Black Tie Gala in Atlanta. Ditching Peter looks good on her, no?
Claudia Jordan, Tia Mowry, Toni Braxton and more walked the red carpet at the BET Awards in L.A. last night. Did you watch? What’d you think of the Prince tributes? What about Beyonce’s surprise performance?
Happy Wednesday! Let’s see what the reality stars are up today!Erika Jayne is back from Miami and hanging on the red carpet at the premiere of Neighbors 2, Camille Grammer was spotted with her kids at the Angry Birds premiere and Kim Kardashian invaded Cannes.
Kim, Kris Jenner, Kendall Jenner and Scott Disick are hanging out in Cannes during the film festival. We’re not quite sure why, but there they are. We feel sorry for the guy who had to walk behind Kim, holding her dress. Best or worst job?
The Braxton sisters: Traci, Towanda and Trina were photographed hanging out at the AOL Build Series.
Dance Moms star JoJo Siwa celebrated her birthday with her co-stars with an 80’s-themed party in Hollywood.
Last night the reality stars were out in L.A., trying to rub elbows with the A-listers of TV and movies, hitting up the Golden Globes after parties. A few lucky ones, like American Idol’sJennifer Lopez, scored an invite to the actual ceremony.
Was Tamar Braxton, mouth almighty and fifth wheel on the daytime chatfest, “The Real,” missed by her show’s producers when she fell ill last month? Well according to Page Six, the dramatic diva was reportedly not missed and as a matter of fact, The Real’s producers, “seemed much happier without her.”
The R&B songstress and star of the “Braxton Family Values” reality show was a top competitor on the wildly popular ABC-TV show, “Dancing With the Stars” when she had to drop out due to blood clots in both her lungs. Tamar was rushed to the hospital midway during dress rehearsals and was not present at the start of the live broadcast. The then ailing award-winning recording artist’s reported initial diagnosis was pneumonia and even though her health was compromised, Tamar forged ahead, returning to the show, just in time to perform a team-up routine with fellow competitors. Upon completing the segment, it was clear, Tamar was exhausted after the showing.
Val considers his hometown New York City. “My parents dropped everything in Ukraine, their job, their friends, and came to New York City with nothing just so that their kids could become something,” shares Val. “Everything I have now is because of them.”
Once again, Val and Tamar butt heads in the rehearsal. When Val explains his vision for the dance, Tamar takes issue with him chasing her around shirtless. Wait, what? A shirtless Val is everything. #FansSelf #Shallow #DontCare I’m not here for Tamar making Val keep his shirt on.
About last week’s abysmal start, Kim says, “It was all kind of a blur – the scores and what they [the judges] said. I am really disappointed in myself because I obviously can do much better. But I mean where can you go from here but up?”
Kim focuses on Atlanta for “Hometown Glory” week.
“I grew up in Connecticut,” explains Kim, “but I have been here in Atlanta for 16 years. Atlanta’s where Big Poppa all my dreams came true. I met my amazing husband here. And I have had five of my children – out of six – here in Atlanta.”
Does Kim dance better this week? Avoid elimination?
When asked why she joined Dancing with the Stars, Tamar says, “After I had my baby, I kind of slowed down a bit and I just wanna put a pep in my step.” In rehearsal, Tamar and Val Chmerkovskiy are having fun together. Tamar says Val’s like an annoying little brother, adding, “Val and I are both outspoken <side eye>, but I’m happy to have the current champion as my partner.”
Tamar and Val dance the Quickstep to “Do Your Thing” by Basement Jaxx. The choreography is no joke – very courageous for week one – but Tamar nails it. So far, I think Tamar is the total package – spunky personality, good work ethic, and killer moves. Check out the video below.
As for the pro dancers, one of my favorite Dancing with the Stars pros, Anna Trebunskaya, is back. Unfortunately, she has been paired with Gary Busey. Why can’t I have nice things?!? Also disappointing, Peta Murgatroyd is out for the season due to an ankle injury. Peta was supposed to dance with “Honey I’m Good” singer Andy Grammer. He’ll dance with Allison Holker instead. Check out the complete list below and let us know if you plan to watch.
