NeNe Leakes Tony Dovolani

We are halfway through Season 18 of Dancing with the Stars – and NeNe Leakes is still in the competition. Last week, the Incredible Hulk NeNe busted out of all that spandex and sequins and treated Tony Dovolani like, well, how she treats other humans – beneath her. NeNe is safe, though, so woohoo for rewarding bad behavior. Or something.

Tony and NeNe take on Salsa this week. NeNe, looking more linebacker than normal, starts in the audience and shimmies up on Gregg on her way to the dance floor. I don't care for the choreography – it's more club than salsa – and NeNe's lemons need wayyyy more support. The highlight?  Tony loses his shirt midway through the dance.

NeNe Leakes

Thanks to the Switch Up - NeNe Leakes wants to school pro Tony Dovolani on how Dancing with the Stars works. She insists it is all about her character. Tony says, "You have to understand that you're going from a dance that has no rules (jazz) to a dance that has a lot of rules (foxtrot)." NeNe responds, "Me becoming a character is a strong point of mine – Derek Hough had the ability to do that because of the dance." Tony adds, "Yeah, a dance with no rules."

NeNe obnoxiously carries on when Tony gives her direction. Tony jokes, "Such a good student – don't listen to anything I say." NeNe huffs, "Listen Tony, don't act like I'm not a good student. I'm <finger snap> an excellent student. Okay?!"

Tony encourages NeNe to try the move one more time, and she snaps, "I don't feel like it anymore. Goodbye. You're gonna have to come with a better attitude tomorrow. I am dead a$$ serious right now because you have a damn attitude today and that sh-t ain't gonna work. If you want to go back to Candace Bure, you should call production so you can go back to Candace so you can be happy. I've only give you the best that I got every day I've ever come here and danced with you. I don't deserve an attitude. Here's your mic, think about it."

NeNe exits stage left. Too bad not for good.

Derek Hough NeNe Leakes DWTS

NeNe Leakes trades Tony Dovolani for Derek Hough on Dancing with the Stars for the first ever (and hopefully last) DWTS Switch-Up this week.

"Derek is great," shares NeNe. "He's a great choreographer. I've watched him dance over the seasons and I know how dope he is. What I like is that Derek knows that I am known for being fabulous – not that Tony didn't know that – but maybe he didn't know how to bring that out."

I cannot explain the feather sticking out of Derek's crotch in the above picture. I also have no words for Derek and NeNe's tribal-inspired jazz number. Derek looks like a flying monkey from the Wizard of Oz flapping his arms around next to giant NeNe. I can't – watch the video below.

No elimination tonight – last week's and this week's scores and viewer votes will be combined to determine who goes home next week. Will NeNe survive?

Dancing with the Stars Tony NeNe

It's week three for NeNe Leakes on Dancing with the Stars. NeNe and Tony Dovolani dance the Rumba, dedicated to NeNe's most memorable year.

NeNe chooses 2013 because it's the year she remarried Gregg Leakes

"The first time I got married to Gregg we were really stuck on attraction," says NeNe. "Our relationship started to really fizzle. We were not seeing eye to eye and we were arguing all the time.  That doesn't work for me.  I'm a really good communicator, like, I like to talk about everything. Gregg - not so much. For a long time we were not even speaking.  I never stopped loving Gregg, so when we broke up, the connection was still there."

NeNe adds, "Gregg Leakesssss, this Rumba is for you. There is a little bit of grinding, honey, but don't worry. You know I'm coming home to you."

NeNe Leakes Jive

It's week two for NeNe Leakes on Dancing with the Stars. NeNe admits she let Gregg choose the dance, which is the Jive, then she rolls her eyes. Tony Dovolani jokes, "Wanna make the hubby happy," to which NeNe says, "I made him happy this morning. HAHA – just kidding!"

Eeewww. Let's move on. ;) The rehearsal clips shows a lot of swearing, weave grabbing, and moaning from the Real Housewives of Atlanta star. NeNe kids about wanting to divorce Gregg.

IMO – tonight's Jive is not as good as last week's Cha Cha Cha.  NeNe seems way more interested in mugging for the camera than focusing on Tony or the Jive. That said, it's not terrible by any means. And, OMG, NeNe has killer legs!

In other news, we learn the stars will switch pros in two weeks, determined by our tweets. Tweet #DWTS followed by the first name of the star and the first name of the pro you want to dance together. Example: #DWTS NeNe Derek.

Monday night on Dancing with the Stars All Stars, Kelly Monaco, Melissa Rycroft, and Shawn Johnson danced for the coveted Mirror Ball Trophy.

First, General Hospital star Kelly Monaco and the talented and delicious Valentin Chmerkovskiy danced the paso doble (29.5/30) and a recreation of Dirty Dancing's iconic "(I've Had) The Time of My Life" dance for their freestyle (29.5/30). Kelly and Val's combined score for the night was 59/60.

The Bachelor's Melissa Rycroft and deserves-to-win Tony Dovolani (he put up with Kate Gosselin!) chose the samba (30/30). The pair took a risk for their freestyle, dancing a contemporary dance. It's safe to say the risk was worth it, as Len was left nearly speechless. The breathtaking dance earned the pair another perfect score. Melissa and Tony's combined score for the night was 60/60.

Finally, Olympic gymnast Shawn Johnson and the master of choreography Derek Hough revisited their we're-above-the-rules quickstep (27/30) and danced a fantastic but gymnastics heavy freestyle that incorporated the "Fierce Five" (30/30). Shawn and Derek's combined score for the night was 57/60.

For the first time in Dancing with the Stars history, three women and their partners go head to head for the trophy… not just any Mirror Ball Trophy… this is the All Stars Trophy! Who wins?

Last night brought us week two of Dancing With The Stars, after the judges deemed last week the best premiere ever! So did the stars continue to sizzle? Or did they buckle under the pressure?

For starters, British singer Katherine Jenkins proved her high score of 26 last week was no fluke as she matched the same score again Monday night, earning a pair of 9s for her high-energy jive with partner Mark Ballas. “The blonde bombshell is unleashed,” said judge Bruno Tonioli.

Katherine had some company at the top, as Disney actor Roshon Fegan also received a score of 26–a 3 point improvement from the previous week–for his fiery quick step with partner Chelsie Hightower. “I liked it,” said judge Len Goodman. “It was young, it was fresh and I thoroughly enjoyed it.”

Unfortunately for Urkel, a.k.a. Jaleel White, he and partner Kym Johnson fell to the middle of the pack after tying for first last week. Jaleel’s jive was panned by the judges with Len stating it didn’t have “crispiness.” He added: “It lacked real attack and speed.”

In last place was tennis legend Martina Navratilova with a score of 17. Martina, who scored a 20 last week, displayed very little rhythm in her jive with partner Tony Dovolani, even losing her footing early in the dance. “That was sad!” critiqued judge Carrie Ann Inaba with Len adding, “You have to come out and attack these dances and I didn’t see that.”

Tonight, one of these stars will be sent packing after the scores from the last two weeks are combined along with the viewers’ votes!

The full scores from last night are below -

Katherine Jenkins & Mark Ballas – 26
Roshon Fegan & Chelsie Hightower – 26
Maria Menounos & Derek Hough – 25
William Levy & Cheryl Burke – 25
Donald Driver & Peta Murgatroyd – 24
Sherri Shepherd & Val Chmerkovskiy – 23
Jaleel White & Kym Johnson – 22
Jack Wagner & Anna Trebunskaya – 21
Gavin DeGraw & Karina Smirnoff – 21
Melissa Gilbert & Maks Chmerkovskiy – 20
Gladys Knight & Tristan MacManus – 19
Martina Navratilova & Tony Dovolani – 17

TELL US – WHO’S YOUR FAVORITE SO FAR? WHO SHOULD BE SENT PACKING TONIGHT?
