What makes for better reality television than the scorned exes of television? You know the answer is "not much" if you keep up with the ladies of Hollywood Exes! Now, it's being reported that two more celebrities' former wives are hoping to score their own show.
If that's the case, CeeLo Green and Usher should be shaking in their ridiculously expensive shoes, because Christina Shanta Johnson and Tameka Foster (the men's respective exes) want to be reality stars! As you know, of course, both divorces were nasty, nasty, nasty!
Did y'all watch The Voice last night? I have to be honest, I have so much in my DVR on Mondays, that I'm going to have to save it for later in the week. That said, I can't wait to see what I anticipate being a much more fun and positive camaraderie among the judges. Don't get me wrong, I'll miss Cee Lo Green, but I think that Shakira and Usher will be great additions alongside Blake Shelton and Adam Levine. As for Xtina? No comment.
There is something about this competition that I truly adore. It's equal parts the design of listening without looking and the witty back and forth among the judges that makes it all the more entertaining. Add in incredible talent, and it's a hit. Of course, there is the always hilariously honest Blake to keep things in check, and he's dishing on the two newbies.
"This is The Voice!" I don't know what it is lately, but I can't help but get these awful theme songs stuck in my head. Don't get me wrong, I love the premise behind NBC's answer to American Idol (and watching Adam Levine and Blake Shelton isn't too shabby either!), but couldn't they have come up with a better hook? It is a music competition after all!
The show is gearing up yet again to premiere in March, and this time aroundCee Lo Green and Christina Aguilera are taking a break. Good riddance to Xtina and her witchy ways! Replacing the duo will be Usher and Shakira, and while I'll miss Cee Lo, I think these two will be a fun, easy mix with Adam and Blake.
In a recent interview, the four judges, old and new, discuss what we can expect from the upcoming season. Adam admits that he underestimated Shakira's spunk, and Usher, who is responsible for giving us The Biebs, reveals that finding new talent is more difficult than he expected. The blind auditions have all been taped, but the live portion of the show will resume taping in the spring.
The Voice mentor Cee Lo Green stopped by the Rachael Ray Show to dish on his job, his pets and his co-stars. We have a sneak peek at the interview, which airs today, October 22nd.
CeeLo on his pets Perfect and Lady: “Perfect is at home in LA and I’m going to have to start working out travel provisions for the animals because wherever I’m at people are always asking about Perfect or Lady.”
CeeLo on leaving “The Voice": “We are going to take a hiatus for season 4, but we are going to be back. Some people don’t realize that it was something that’s agreed upon and amicable. We’ll be back.“
Old coaches are out and new coaches are in on The Voice… and we didn't have to endure months of speculation surrounding possible new coaches? Not even a single, "How about Charlie Sheen?" plea for attention! WOW.
We turn around our chairs and give The Voice a standing ovation.
It's true. Just like that, sources say the The Voice has secured Usher and Shakira as coaches for next season's spring cycle. They will step in for Cee Lo Greenand Christina Aguilera, who both need a break from the hit show to pursue other projects.
I am super excited. Not only is one of my favorite reality shows returning for a third season, I don’t have to wait for the winter season for it to air. Plus, I get to see some pretty hot musicians.
NBC’s The Voice will be returning on September 10th, and the show is keeping it fresh with some new changes (take note, American Idol!). The Voice is a unique reality competition with a format unlike any other. Unlike Idol, the contestants seen by viewers are all talented, and half of the season isn’t centered around crazy auditions. The music competition features coaches Blake Shelton, Adam Levine, Cee-Lo Green, and Christina Aguilera creating teams of singers based on their voices alone. Once the teams are assembled, they battle each other in the early rounds.
Something tells me Christina Aguilerais not a pleasant co-worker, but it looks like things got completely out of control this past week between her and The Voice co-star Adam Levine. Radar has the scoop on a huge fight the two had at the May 7 rehearsal for the singing competition and Adam sounds like another piece of work.
Apparently frustrated by Christina’s criticisms of his contestant, Tony Lucca, Adam decided he would have Tony sing “99 Problems” by Jay-Z, which famously includes the line “I got 99 problems but a bitch ain’t one.” The “bitch” being Christina. Adam decided to employ the trick of high school girls everywhere and express himself in pointed song lyrics. Like most adult men.
