Mark Ballas and Sadie Robertson

Sadie Robertson was the “reality star” pick for Dancing with the Stars season 19. During her introduction, the Duck Dynasty star mentioned that dancing is strictly prohibited at the Christian school she attends in Louisiana. The 1984 cult classic Footloose immediately came to mind for many, myself included.

So is dancing truly 100% prohibited at Sadie‘s school? According to the school’s principal, YES! The school has a long-standing ban on school dances, including prom, he confirmed.

Despite her lack of experience, Sadie proved she was a serious contender last week when she and her partner, Mark Ballas, earned the second highest score of the night. And while the judges’ comments were largely favorable, Willie Robertson took issue with one of Julianne Hough‘s suggestions.

Stars Get Lucky For Lupus: 6th Annual Poker Tournament_Inside

Reality stars were out and about attending more events this week and we have the good and bad fashion photos for you!

Celebs like Gretchen Rossi (wearing something from Kim Kardashian’s closet?) and Slade Smiley stepped out for the Stars Get Lucky For Lupus: 6th Annual Poker Tournament – along with Nick Cannon, Toni Braxton and more.

Shahs of Sunset star Golnesa GG Gharachedaghi was spotted at the People StyleWatch 4th Annual Denim Awards last night at The Line.  Seriously? People has an awards event for denim?  Any excuse for a party, I guess!  Also in attendance: Tia Mowry, Stassi Schroeder (she’s going on my baby bump watch list I think), Val Chmerkovskiy and more.

Kim Kardashian left the Bunim/Murray Productions studio wearing another crop top ensemble.   Bethenny Frankel ran errands around NYC and many more!  Check out all the pics below!

The Voice season 7

Fall is my favorite time of the year. From the cooler temperatures to the intense fall TV schedule, I cannot get enough! Over the past two weeks, The Biggest Loser, Couples Therapy, Hell’s Kitchen, Dancing with the Stars, and Kim of Queens returned to our TV screens and Love & Hip Hop Hollywood kicked off its first season.

And that is just the beginning! We still have The Voice, featuring new coaches Pharrell Williams and Gwen StefaniManzo’d with Children, Kendra on Top, focusing on Hank Baskett and Kendra Wilkinson‘s marital woesTrue Tori, and more to look forward to. See the list of reality TV shows with September or October premiere dates below.

Dancing with the Stars Cheryl Burke last season

ABC kicked off Season 19 of Dancing with the Stars last night. Despite my ho-hum reaction to the “stars” cast, I enjoyed the show. I especially enjoyed a peek of Maks Chmerkovskiy in the audience. ;)

Some seasons, like this one, the only reason I turn on the premiere is to see my favorite pros dance. Luckily I always find a star or two to root for along the way. But my interest fades a little bit each time one of the pros I like to watch – Anna Trebunskaya, Tristan MacManus, Chelsie Hightower, Kym Johnson, and Maks come to mind – leaves the show.

Now it sounds like I will have one less reason to tune in to Season 20. Another one of my favorite pros, Cheryl Burke, recently announced that Season 19 will probably be her last on Dancing with the Stars

Tommy Chong and Peta Murgatroyd

ABC has released the cast photos for Dancing with the Stars season 19.

Thursday’s new cast reveal did not impress me, but I will tune in to cheer on my favorite pro dancers. When did the pros become a bigger draw than the stars?! That said, I remember not knowing much about Emmitt Smith, Gilles Marini, Donald Driver, and Zendaya beyond their profession, but I grew to love each of them on their season. So I hope the same happens this time around.

Below are photos of the stars – Antonio Sabato Jr, Betsey Johnson, Alfonso Ribeiro, Janel Parrish, Lolo Jones, Tommy Chong, Bethany Mota, Randy Couture, Michael WaltripSadie Robertson, Tavis Smiley, Lea Thompson, and Jonathan Bennett – with their pro partners. This coming Monday brings us the Bachelor in Paradise finale – who’s watching that hot mess?!? – then the new season of Dancing with the Stars kicks off Monday, September 15.

DWTS Betsey Johnson

ABC unveiled the Dancing with the Stars season 19 cast this morning on Good Morning America. Cheech and Chong star Tommy Chong and reality TV star Betsey Johnson were my biggest surprises. Need I say more about the rest?

Most of the rumors were true. Duck Dynasty star Sadie Robertson will dance. When asked how her family reacted to the news, Sadie said, “They thought it was hilarious. We don’t really have that much dancing experience in the family, but it’s going to be really funny to see them all at the show.”

But a few of the rumors missed the mark. Bachelorette star Andi Dorfman did not make the cut. I’m not sad about it. Oh, you know who else is missing? THE STARS. Seriously, if I have to Google more than half of the cast, they are not stars. <sigh> Check out the complete list below and let us know what you think.
