Johnny Karagiorgis

penny kim d - rhonj season 5 finale, post brawl

Does anyone still care about a brawl that happened on Real Housewives Of New Jersey back when Teresa Giudice was still running around shrieking things like “Prostitution Whore!”?! Yes, they do – John Karagiorgis, aka Johnny The Greek (married to Penny Of Hair-Hell-Extensions), does, to be exact!

Johnny was involved in a bloody brawl at the hands of Joe Gorga, Jacqueline Laurita (her shoe), and Chris Laurita during the season 5 finale party, which took place at Kim DePaola‘s salon, Posche 2. I can’t even recall what the brawl was about but it had something to do with Teresa, Melissa Gorga and her shady past and some rumors, and desperate clinger-ons to the RHONJ franchise (and Bravo cut most of it from the episode anyway).

Well now, allegedly, there is some developing new information about that brawl and Johnny’s case!

Last week Johnny Karagiorgis was threatening to sue Bravo and other Real Housewives of New Jersey cast members related to a brawl that took place at the Moxie Salon/Posche 2 opening. Johnny believed producers and cast members conspired against him to lure into a confrontation and that the fight was pre-meditated for a storyline.

On October 2nd Johnny and his wife Penny Karagiorgis officially filed a lawsuit in Hackensack, N.J! Named as defendants are Joe Gorga, Jacqueline Laurita, Chris Laurita, Sirens Media LLC (the producers of RHONJ), NBC Universal (Bravo's parent company), Bravo Media, and Moxie Salon. Kim DePaola is not specifically named as a defendant despite everyone claiming she orchestrated at least part of the set-up!

Johnny believes the incident was arranged to increase ratings. Jacqueline, on the other hand, denies any such incidents occurred!

The Real Housewives of New Jersey - Season 5

During filming the Real Housewives of New Jersey finale an massive brawl broke out between several of the castmembers (ahem… Jacqueline Laurita) and extra Johnny Karagiorgis. Poor Johnny – he just wanted to cozy up to the cameras!

Johnny was accused of spreading rumors about Melissa Gorga's allegedly nefarious past which caused Poison to flip his spray on hair'd top. He was also accused of making nasty comments about Jacqueline's son Nicholas, which caused Chris Laurita to leap into the wackin', crackin' crazy.

Jacqueline, according to witnesses, even smacked Johnny in the head with her stiletto – an accusation she denies. Charges were filed against all parties but last week the matter was settled out of court and charges dropped. And of course, Bravo cut the entire fight scene from the finale footage!

Unfortunately all is NOT said and done! Word just emerged that Johnny will file a civil suit against Bravo for their role in instigating the fight. “Johnny plans to file civil charges against every – all three of the people from the show, Bravo, NBC, the production company and the security teams that didn’t stop the physical violence from happening,” a source revealed to Radar Online.

Teresa Giudice took to her Bravo blog this week to talk about the final episode of season five.  The Real Housewives of New Jersey star talked apologies, hair stylists and shared her thoughts on the interview with Andy Cohen that aired after the finale.

Teresa revealed that she's sick of apologizing and taking blame, but will keep on doing it for the sake of her brother Joe. "I can't believe it ended like the last two did: with everyone trying to blame me and make me apologize. I've apologized more times than I can count, but if that's what my brother needs, I'll keep apologizing until my tongue falls out. I've never tried to hurt him or Melissa. I only care about my family. Hopefully we've wiped the slate clean and can start over from here now. Since my family is in the public eye, we've got to be strong, we've got to support each other, and we've got to stand united. I never want to go back to that dark place with my family again."

Oh Jacqueline "I ain't crazy" Laurita – I truly believe that you keep twitter alive. I mean approximately 98% of all tweets come straight from your iPhone.

Yesterday Jacqueline and her husband Chris Laurita, along with Joe Gorga, met with Johnny Karagiorgis and their attorneys and settle the assault charges they filed against each other in the Posche 2 Brawl which will be showcased on next week's Real Housewives of New Jersey season finale. Hopefully the Lauritas had a real lawyer with them this time!

With the case summarily dismissed Jacs hopped on twitter to celebrate! First of all, despite witness accounts, she denies hitting Johnny on the head with her shoe. "Disgusting that He lied about me hitting him w/a shoe!It never happened!I didn't do that! Raw footage proves that!" Yes… let's see this raw footage that likely exposes what a whole producer manipulated set-up this entire shenanigan was!

Earlier this year an epic brawl broke out during a Real Housewives of New Jersey Posche Boutique event. Kim D was opening a new salon – and it was open for drama!

Jacqueline Laurita reportedly clubbed Penny Karagiorgis' husband 'Johnny The Greek' with a stiletto as Chris Laurita and Joe Gorga jumped into the mix. Both parties are charged with assault and the matter was due in court on Sept. 5th. reports that the charges of assault and terroristic threats have been adjourned and will no longer go before a criminal court judge. Instead the trial will be heard in municipal court on September 26th.

The case against Johnny, filed as a result of charges being pressed by Jacqueline, Chris, and Joe, will also be adjourned and held in municipal court.

Jacqueline and Chris Laurita along with Joe Gorga are about to face prosecutors stemming from assault charges filed by Johnny Karagiorgis

Bergen County prosecutor spokesperson Maureen Parenta reveals that the Lauritas and Joe are "being prepared" to face grand jury indictment related to the Real Housewives of New Jersey brawl that broke out during filming for a Moxie/Posche 2 grand opening.

Johnny maintains he was "ambushed" by the RHONJ cast and it was all to create drama for the reality show. The incident was filmed.

This morning a judge heard counter-claims filed by Jacqueline and Chris Laurita and Joe Gorga over a Real Housewives of New Jersey brawl that was filmed for season 5.

Johnny Karagiorgis claims he was savagely beaten by the three RHONJ cast members and filed charges against them for assault and terroristic threats. A judge agreed to these charges which are pending investigation. Today all parties again appeared in court where Jacqueline, Chris and Joe gave their testimony as to what happened.

Jacqueline told a the judge: Johnny was “asked not to attend” the Posche 2 grand opening, “but he showed up anyway with a bodyguard” and “came dressed in clothes like he was ready for a fight,” reports North
