While some reality TV stars make a huge production out of going to church on Easter <cough-Kris-cough-Kardashian-cough> for the paparazzi, others enjoy quiet, quality time with family. Of course, they ARE still reality stars, so they post pictures. Here is a roundup of our favorite pictures from the holiday weekend.
After only 7 episodes on Fashion Police, Kathy Griffin is dunzo! Make room for NeNe Leakes?? Or (gasp!) Porsha Williams?? Both reality stars have been wishin’ and hopin’ and prayin’ and…thirstin‘! But no word yet on whether either would even be considered as a co-host. In the mean time, there’s two open spots on the bench.
Kathy tweetedthe announcement yesterday, saying she doesn’t want to “contribute to a culture of unattainable perfectionism and intolerance” anymore. After replacing her personal hero and comic icon Joan Rivers (their meet-ups on Kathy’s former reality show, My Life of the D-List were EPIC!!) Kathy says she “discovered that my style does not fit with the creative direction of the show & now it’s time to move on.”
E! shared: “Kelly Osbourne is departing E!s Fashion Police to pursue other opportunities, and we would like to thank her for her many contributions to the series over the past five years, during which time the show became a hit with viewers. Fashion Police will return, as scheduled, on Friday, March 30th at 9:00 p.m. and no decisions have been made on her replacement.”
Unless you have been under a rock all day.. you know that Zendaya Coleman took offense to a comment Giuliana Rancic made on Fashion Police about her dreadlocks. Giuliana said the hairstyle makes Zendaya look like she reeks of patchouli oil and marijuana. Holy stereotype, right?!?
As a follow up to the non-apology apology she tweeted earlier today, Giuliana addressed the issue tonight on E! News. “I do want to address something that is weighing very heavy on my heart. I want to apologize for a comment on last night’s Fashion Police about Zendaya‘s hair,” she said.
After nearly a decade off the air, The Osbournes is coming back to TV. The wildly popular and Emmy award winning reality TV series originally aired March 2002 through March 2005 on MTV.
Sharon Osbourne announced the news on The Talk. “It’s not as much coming back as a proper series [but] as an update,” she said. “At most there’ll be only six to eight episodes. It’s a catch up on our lives and where we are now.”
Someone at Time Magazine, who has way too much time on his or her hands, decided to run the tweets written by the 500 most followed celebrities through a reading comprehension test to determine the 50 Smartest Celebrities on Twitter. The test adds up the number of three-syllable words used in a tweet to calculate the education level required to understand it.
Time reported, the average Twitter user tweets at a 4th grade reading level.
Leonardo DiCaprio took the #1 spot with a 7.5 grade reading level. He tweets a lot about ocean conservation, so this is not surprising. Pattie Mallette, the woman who gave us Justin Bieber, ranked #2. My guess is that the three-syllable word “beliebers” helped her win this spot. Jenni “JWoww” Farley was one of the highest ranking reality TV stars!
