A lot of reality stars were gathered in NYC last night for the OK! Magazine Summer Party! A slew of ladies from the various Real Housewives franchises, the Summer House cast, Teen Mom stars, and more were spotted at the event together.
We need more of Scheana Marie’s mom Erika van Olphen on Vanderpump Rules. Sure, we’ve seen her and Scheana go for manicures here and there, but based on social media, I would like her to have a recurring role on the show. With the constantly shifting cast dynamic, Scheana seems like the odd girl out these days and she could really use someone in her corner.
Joining Carl andAndy Cohenin the clubhouse was Vanderpump Rules star Lala Kent. She discussed her newfound friendships with Katie Maloney, Kristen, and Stassi. She even commented on the speculation about James Kennedy and Logan Noh being more than just friends, and all of the other hot topics this season.
During an episode of The Morning Breath, Summer Housecast member Stephen McGee claimed, “Carl f-cked Scheana.” He later explained,“I went with Carl and Scheana back to Carl’s apartment one night and she knew where everything was.” That’s not exactly concrete evidence, so it’s not surprising that Andy Cohen looked to Kristen for further confirmation when she was a guest on his show.
I cannot get enough of Bravo. I wish that there was some sort of spin-off hybrid series about the Bravolebrities in between seasons. I would love to see people from different shows mingling, turning up after Watch What Happens Live, and whatever else happens before and after they post photos together on Instagram.
Since Summer House is technically a Vanderpump Rules spin-off and the two casts hang out pretty often, it’s not too hard to imagine that a hookup went down with cast members from both shows.
The original home from Summer House didn’t survive from Season 1 to Season 2 and neither did two main cast members and by that I just mean that their reality TV stardom is over (or at least halted). Unfortunately they will no longer be an official part of the show, but might just be hanging around with their friends.
That would annoy me if I were them, but I guess they have to take what they can get. And who knows if they were actually fired or if they quit for some reason. Most likely, it was the former, but you never know. Not everyone’s real career is suited for reality TV.
Now that the first season of Summer House is over, the cast members are free to talk about everything we watched and to share what else went down that didn’t make the episodes. Kyle Cooke and Cristina Gibson talked about all of the Summer House drama in a recent interview.
This included Cristina’s broken friendship with Lindsay Hubbard (a constant topic of conversation), her belief that Carl Radke used her as a scapegoat to get out of dating Lauren Wirkus, and her opinion that Stephen McGee is a bigger meddler than she was last summer. Kyle discussed his relationship status with Amanda Batula and provided some much-needed back story to their interaction.
