Teresa Giudice Sentencing

teresa giudice is sad and depressed before prison

UPDATE:  This has been confirmed as a FALSE REPORT.   Vicky Hyman of NJ.com writes, “Matt Reilly, the U.S. Attorney’s Office spokesman, says his office is continuing to work with the couple to schedule repayment, and has not ordered any such seizure. Anyone went over there under official capacity, it would be under us.'”

The denials continue to pour in regarding an alleged raid on the home of Teresa and Joe Giudice.  See the links below.  The Sheriff’s office, the US Attorney’s office, Teresa’s lawyer, Joe’s lawyer and more have all firmly stated that no such occurrence took place and say the stories are 100% fabricated.

Bethenny Frankel

At first, I was kinda shocked Bethenny Frankel announced her return to Real Housewives of New York prior to any official season seven announcements courtesy of Andy or Bravo, but I’ve since had an ah-ha! moment.

Bethenny‘s currently in the middle of a press tour for her books, Cookie Meets Peanut and Skinnygirl Cocktails, so now she’s promoting the books AND she’s talking about the ratings challenged show. As they say, timing is everything.

In a recent interview with Extra, Bethenny talked about her decision to return to Real Housewives of New York, her personal life, and her reaction to Real Housewives of New Jersey‘s Teresa Giudice‘s prison sentence.

RHONJ season finale Teresa and Melissa

Real Housewives of New Jersey wrapped up season six with Jim and Amber Marchese, Rich and Kathy Wakile, Rosie PierriChris and Jacqueline Laurita, Bobby Ciasulli, and Nicole Napolitano reacting to Joe and Teresa Giudice being sentenced to 41 months and 15 months, respectively, in prison.

Noticeably missing from the reaction shots were Dina Manzo, Melissa Gorga, and Joe Gorga. Melissa took to her blog to explain why she didn’t let cameras into her home that day and throw a little shade at those who did.

Addressing the fans of the show, Melissa said, “We’ve been through so much together throughout the years. It’s not always easy being on reality TV. I’m not complaining, because obviously I signed up for it, but there are times I wish I could turn it on and off. Unfortunately I don’t have that option, so here we are.”

Heather Dubrow

The season 6 finale of the Real Housewives of New Jersey featured Joe and Teresa Giudice‘s federal prison sentencing. Joe was sentenced to 41 months and Teresa was sentenced to 15 months in federal prison.

After Teresa was sentenced and all the bigwigs sat around wondering what to do now, I was like, “Um, FIRE HER?!?” I mean, seriously! I was not shocked, however, to learn that a pink slip wasn’t on the list of options.

In a recent interview, the Real Housewives of Orange County star Heather Dubrow expressed her utter shock over Joe and Teresa lying to the court and called out Bravo for keeping the convicted felons on the payroll.

nene leakes defends teresa giudice saying she didn't understand guilty plea

During a WWHL interview earlier this week Teresa Giudice told Andy Cohen that she didn’t “fully understand” her guilty plea meant she was admitting guilt to federal fraud charges. Despite her claim, prosecutors for the US Attorney’s office say did understand, but as NeNe Leakes points out they don’t really know how Teresa operates…

The Real Housewives Of New Jersey star claims that she thought her lawyers were going to fight for her and she put her faith “in their hands” only to find herself going to prison for 15 months! Oops. Teresa claims she’s going to learn to read things from now on – starting, I hope, with the dictionary Kathy Wakile gave her where she can look up G – for guilty.

The prosecutor’s office, however, insists that Teresa was very aware of what she was doing when she signed that plea. They do understand that the very basis of Teresa’s defense was that she signs her name to things she doesn’t read, right? Like, duh – who has time to read when you could shop! Or bedazzle something! Or flip tables!

Teresa Giudice Is Confused

In light of the situation, and everyone trying to get a bite of the action, there are a TON of ridiculous rumors out there about the Real Housewives Of New Jersey stars’ futures. Personally I think they should just volunteer to be on the first human Mars colony in lieu of jail time.

Below we break down all the silliest stories we’ve heard. And guess what – in almost every single one of them Teresa is getting divorced!
