We’re still bringing you the weekly photo roundup in a short bit, but first wanted to put up some shots from last night. The stars of Bravo gathered in NYC for the Bravo All-Star Party special edition of Watch What Happens Live. A slew of the celebs were spotted leaving their hotels on their way over to the event, so we wanted to share!
Real Housewives of New Yorkstar, Bethenny Frankel is four months pregnant and isn’t showing any signs of slowing down anytime soon. In addition to shooting The Real Housewives of New York City series, she just completed the filming of her first exercise DVD. As if that wasn’t enough, she is also planning a book tour to promote her new book, The Skinnygirl Dish. In a recent interview with Life & Style, Bethenny reveals her pregnancy bump and talks of the excitement of being an expecting mom.
Below are excerpts from Bethenny’s interview:
L&S: Congratulations! Are you super excited?
Bethenny: I’m really excited. I’m starting to show a little bit. I don’t fit in my pants — it’s very liberating. Now I believe that I’m pregnant.
L&S: Have you gained a lot of weight?
Bethenny: Five or 6 pounds, but they’re right in my stomach. A lot of people think being pregnant is one giant binge, but you should check yourself before you wreck yourself. I’m not changing the way I eat. If I eat chocolate cake at lunch, I try not to have it after dinner. By no means is it dieting, but I’m trying to maintain some sort of balance because I’ll have to deal with it later. I’m actually thinking of writing a pregnancy book. There’s no reason to gain 75 pounds.
L&S: Do you feel like this is a miracle baby?
Bethenny: Absolutely a miracle. I’m not young, and I run around like a maniac. I always wanted to have kids, but I thought I’d wind up adopting or freezing my eggs. I didn’t think it would just happen at my age. Did I plan the pregnancy? No. Did I want it? Yes. I felt like there was something huge missing in my life that I hadn’t experienced yet.
Real Housewives of NYCstar, Bethenny Frankel’slifeis no longer private since staring in a reality show. So could that translate into a reality TV wedding for the Skinny Girl entrepreneur and boyfriend Jason Hoppy?
“I don’t know. If he asks me to marry him, when he does, I’ll say yes, so we’ll see,” she toldOK! recently at the BNP Paribas Taste of Tennis event. “But I don’t know what kind of wedding we’d have.”
Bethenny reveals that Jason will be a part of the reality show, since he is part of her life.
“He’s a part of my life and I would never do anything inauthentic on the show, just like I wouldn’t do anything inauthentic in my life, so it’s kind of all the same,” explains Bethenny.
So is Jason ready for reality TV stardom?
“I think he’s a little bit nervous,” admits Bethenny. ” He’s from a very small town and he’s a very normal, grounded guy and I think that he’s a little overwhelmed.”
Rumors have been circulating that Jill Zarin may not return to The Real Housewives of New York City because Bravo has refused to meet her demands.
In an interview with Radaronline, Jill insists that she will be returning even though she has yet to sign the contract. In addition, she confirmed Kelly Bensimon was one of the first housewives to sign the contract for season 3. However, she failed to confirm if other cast mates had signed their contracts.
Even though Bravo released a statement saying they are looking for new cast members, Jill insists all the cast mates will be returning. “The ink isn’t dry yet, but I can tell you that we’re all set on returning,” she said. “Bravo released a statement saying they were looking for new cast members and I think people read into that. I think the show was giving some of the original cast members a chance to deal with their personal lives.”
She also refutes rumors saying she was getting paid about $30,000 an episode, but nevertheless she says she is not involved in reality television because of the money.
