Another Bachelor relationship bites the dust.
After over a year together, Bachelorette star Ali Fedotowsky and fiancé Roberto Martinez have ended their relationship.
The couple’s rep confirms the split to PEOPLE magazine. “Ali Fedotowsky and Roberto Martinez have ended their relationship,” the rep reveals. “As they go through this difficult time, we ask that you respect the couple’s privacy.”
Ali, 27, and Roberto, 28, got engaged back in 2010 during the 6th season of the Bachelorette. All seemed to be going well for the couple until a few months ago when Ali revealed they had decided to postpone their wedding blaming their busy schedules and a thigh injury.
UsWeekly, however, reported the two were having major problems just last month. Ali is “miserable in the relationship and he is too,” a friend told the mag back then. “Their relationship has been tumultuous since day one,” added the friend stating the two “bring out the worst in each other.”
The report stated the couple’s issues stemmed from their stressful long, hectic work hours as well as big-time fights.
