The Bravo network has now released a new preview clip for Kandi Burruss’ spin-off show, The Kandi Factory!
Kandi, star of the Real Housewives of Atlanta, who is now notorious for helping turn tone-deaf Kim Zolciak into a iTunes music super star will attempt to do the same with two music hopefuls by giving them their chance at music stardom.
In this special, Kandi will give two protégés, with no music industry experience, the opportunity to come to Atlanta. She will write an original song for each based on their personal stories. The amateurs will then have the chance to work with her team of experts–composed of a producer, choreographer and stylist–to master the key elements that make a pop star.
It, however, appears Kandi’s show will be a one time special, for the time being, and not a weekly series. No word on why Bravo decided to use this format. Perhaps, it was always intended to be a special than a weekly series.
The Kandi Factory will air March 4 on Bravo at 10/9c in the form of a 90-minute special. A video sneak peek is below!
Moving on to some RHOA drama, Kandi does not bite her tongue when it comes to her costar Marlo Hampton. In her latest Bravo blog, Kandi tells the truth refers to Marlo, who took over 25 pairs of Christian Louboutin shoes to Africa for a 10-day vacation, as being both “shallow and materialistic.”
“I think for the most part Marlo is a nice person, and yes, I think she’s fashionable, but I just don’t like being around people who constantly boast and brag about what they have. It comes off as shallow and materialistic,” blogs Kandi. “I hate when NeNe says that I’m mad just because I let it be known that I don’t like Marlo’s bragging. Now when I remind NeNe that she has made similar statements about Kim, she says it’s because Kim is materialistic and superficial but Marlo doesn’t seem that way. Huh?! ”
Kandi continues, “Well anyway, I think Marlo has an incredible closet full of beautiful clothes and shoes, but the constant talk about them I can do without.” Amen sister!
Kandi also touched on Cynthia Bailey’s two-facedness! On the last episode of the show, Cynthia continued to prove she is nothing more than Nene Leakes’ lapdog as she appeared scared to share her true feelings and opinions about Marlo when her leader, Nene, was around.
Kandi writes: “Now Cynthia on the other hand does hang out with Marlo from time to time, because of NeNe I suppose. It threw me for a loop when she was so open on the safari about her thoughts of Marlo when it was just us Smalls listening, but she TOTALLY changed her tune when NeNe met up with us. If she has ever wondered why people have said she follows NeNe and doesn’t have her own mind, then maybe she gets it now. I didn’t get it. Why wasn’t she as honest with NeNe about her opinion as she was with us? That was crazy.”
Crazy indeed for an adult woman to be scared of another adult woman! Especially, one who’s suppose to be her friend.
