Melissa Gorga had a mini brush with the law recently and despite the dramatic way it's being spread around the internet, it was a fairly boring non-event. Melissa got pulled over by the police and had to pay a couple of fines.
Our source exclusively shares what went down with the Real Housewives of New Jersey star, "Melissa was pulling into the supermarket parking lot which is less than 2 miles from her house when the officer pulling out noticed she didn't have a front license plate. She had just gotten the car back from the auto body shop and they didn’t put it back on. She received several citations (none of which were for speeding), went to court and paid a fine."

The three fines Melissa had to pay were: failure to use proper safety restraint (on a child), failure to have vehicle inspection and failure to properly display license plates.
It doesn't say that one of the kids was without a car seat/belt completely. It just says "proper" safety restraint, which could mean a few different things.
In the grand scheme of New Jersey drama/news, this has the excitement equivalent of Kathy's nose job. Yawn.
